This is a unique course developed with employers and key organisations in the industry. It’s also an excellent route to the final year of our BSc (Hons) Construction Management degree.

You will improve your understanding of the latest relevant technology, management, law and theories behind modern construction. Teaching and learning There will be a mixture of face-to-face lectures, practical work and Work Based Learning. Work Based Learning gives you credit for activities you undertake in the workplace.

Options Stage Two You will choose one module from:  Services and Sustainable Design  Measurement and Cost Studies You will also choose one module from:  Maintenance and Refurbishment  Surveying 2 If you wish to progress on to stage three of BSc (Hons) Construction Management, you will need to complete the bridging module:  Construction Research Methods and Personal Development

Additional information When you have successfully completed this foundation degree and the bridging module, you will be ready to go into the final stage of our BSc (Hons) Construction Management degree, to top up your qualification to a full bachelors degree. Your career With your foundation degree you will have career opportunities in areas such as construction management, project management, site management or offsite manufacturing. This course is accredited by the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB), and on completion of this course you will be eligible for Incoporated Member status of the CIOB.
