About the course You will be introduced to a variety of literatures from the 16th Century to the present day, from Africa and the Caribbean, Asia, the Americas and Europe. You can take modules that closely examine the ways drama, poetry and prose have developed over the centuries, as well as those examining key theoretical positions, which have altered the way we read. There’s lots of choice, so you can focus on your own literary interests.

Duration and mode of study: 3 years full time or 4 – 6 years part time.

During this course you will develop skills such as communication, literary interpretation, appropriate expression and critical analysis, which are much sought after by employers.

We also organise programmes of workshops and talks concerned with making yourself employable and aimed specifically at Humanities graduates.
