About the course As events become bigger and more complex, event managers need the knowledge and skills to be able to make the next generation of events as exciting, memorable and professional as possible. This is your chance to gain all the academic and practical skills needed to progress in the exciting and vibrant events industry.
How you’ll learn The course offers a combination of lectures with academics that have event experience, case studies, discussions, seminars and small group activities in addition to audio visual material and guest speakers from related industries.
Assessment You’ll be assessed by a combination of coursework, oral presentations, written assignments and written exams.

The events industry is expanding rapidly and there are a range of opportunities with good employment prospects in the UK and internationally when you graduate. This course also provides a foundation for further study at final year undergraduate level in events or similar areas of study such as business studies, leisure or tourism.
