Teaching and learning We believe that you cannot understand law properly unless you see it and experience it in reality. You will have the opportunity to study in our fully functioning courtroom and purpose built interview suites so as to offer a real-life practical experience. Modules can be assessed by a variety of methods incorporating coursework, examinations, presentations, negotiations, mooting, and interactive online assessments.

About the course You can draw from a fascinating array of law courses, covering all aspects of human activity, from medical law, through to environmental law, pulling together your own distinct theme of study or following pathways that complement your other subject of study, whether it be business, psychology, sociology or many other areas.

You can study Law as either a major, joint or minor pathway. Your career Whatever your career ambitions may be, the knowledge of law will be an invaluable asset. If you are interested in business you will be able to negotiate a contract, if you start a career in the public sector you will take account of human rights issues, and if you specialise in computing you will be fully aware of cybercrime issues. The joint honours programme helps you choose subjects that complement each other and your chosen career path.
