How you’ll learn You will investigate the theoretical concepts of outdoor adventure, leadership and coaching as well as the development of independent thinking. The Outdoor Activities programme works with organisations including Mammut Technical Equipment Manufacturer. You will be assessed by written assignments, group discussions and oral presentations.
Start dates: If you're from the UK or EU you can apply to study this course in September. If you're from a country outside the EU you can apply to study this course full time in: September.
You will have the opportunity of work placement.

▪ You will study at Oaklands Manor in Buxton, our 58 acre outdoor leadership centre in the heart of the Peak District National Park. ▪ You will gain the knowledge and skills to lead a range of outdoor activities safely. ▪ You will have the opportunity to go on expeditions such as Morocco, Slovenia and Greece.
About the course If you are the kind of person that enjoys outdoor adventurous activities, and you see yourself leading expeditions, coaching or working independently, then this course could be perfect for you. You will cover a range of interdisciplinary and work based subject areas that prepare you for employment in the outdoor sector.
