ROTTERDAM - WORLD PORT WORLD CITY ‘De Rotterdam’ is the eye-catcher of the proud port city. A new icon for the city and mentioned in various international ranking lists among others in the New York Times and Rough Guides’ “Best places to go”. The building is a truly vertical city: three transparent towers, 150 metres high, on a base of cafés, restaurants, a hotel, sports club and magnificent entrances. On the Wilhelminapier you will find 21st century Rotterdam: the newest cultural institutions, restaurants, hotels, residential buildings and offices in a setting of old warehouses and impressive new buildings, surrounded by water. The new Manhattan on the river Maas.
