Duration: 8 or 11 weeks, exam week immediately following the course end

The FCE is the most widely recognized proof of language ability at the upper intermediate level. The CAE also has tremendous popularity as an assessment of advanced abilities in English.

Test: ELC is an authorized open test site for FCE and CAE.

Students in the FCE and CAE Preparation Courses focus on not only passing the final examination, but also on improving their general accuracy and fluency in English. These are academically rigorous courses, limited to FCE and CAE students who will take the exam at its conclusion. All students must successfully pass a pre-test in order to participate in these courses. All three ELC locations are proud to be official University of Cambridge testing centers.

ELC is the best experience I have ever known in my life. The staff is fantastic and devoted to each student. I have met students from everywhere in the world and due to the activities it creates a strong relationship between us. It’s like a second family. Also, now it is natural for me to speak English.
