The FREE service features two specially designed, seven-passenger limousine-style electric vehicles. The handicap accessible carts are in operation seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The Courtesy Carts have no set route and pick up and drop off shoppers at any location along the nine-block shopping district.

The GENERAL GEORGE S. PATTON MEMORIAL MUSEUM has been established to honor the late General George S. Patton and the thousands of men who served with him at the Desert Training Center. THE INDIAN CANYONS Centuries ago, ancestors of the Agua Caliente Cahuilla Indians settled in the Palm Springs area and developed extensive and complex communities in canyons, traces of which still exist today: TAHQUITZ CANYON, at 500 W. Mesquite, just west of Palm Canyon Drive in downtown Palm Springs, has been reopened to the public for the first time since 1971. It’s the home to a spectacular 60-foot waterfall, rock art, ancient irragation systems, native wildlife and plants. Cabot’s Pueblo Museum A unique Hopi inspired Pueblo hand-made by Cabot Yerxa over 24 years. This multi-level building includes 35 rooms, 150 windows and 65 doors, all crafted from found materials.
