Faux Fur Ball 2022 Go Go Dancers with Gand Band. Photo by Pat Krause. Story and Photos by Pat Krause The Palm Springs Animal Shelter held its annual Faux Fur Ball on April 2nd at the Palm Springs Air Museum. The event benefits the Friends of the Palm Springs Animal Shelter. Over 650 people filled an airplane hangar to the sounds of the
Gand Band that filled the air with music. Once inside, there were many appetizers and drinks. Guests were treated to three GO GO dancers that wore fringed dresses that kept moving. One of the Dancers would go into the crowd, and people would dance with
her. The Gand Band made a lot of great music with just 3 musicians, a keyboardist, drummer, and guitarist. People came dressed for the occasion. Hippy type wear was all over with wigs, headbands, flower leis, colorful and flowered dresses and

Chevron will keep the trophy as the Dinah Shore

Trophy going forward when it moves the event to Houston, a nice gesture, but this year, somehow, it feels hollow. “For so many of us who have been privileged to be part of this event, we walk away with our hearts full. I may be going out on a limb here, but hopefully, the best women golfers in the world will be back at Mission Hills in some fashion.” Judy Rankin, Hall Of Fame player and LPGA broadcaster. On Saturday, a third-round 64 vaulted Jennifer Kupcho into a six-shot lead at the beginning of round 4, and after taking the lead, she never looked back.
