Swafford Wins AMEX

Comes from behind with an exciting final round 64 to win The American Express at -23. By Richard Rowland Hudson Swafford emerged from a crowded leaderboard late on Sunday at the Stadium Course at PGA West, with nine birdies and an eagle on 16 to close out the field with a two-shot victory. Hudson had only one par on the back nine, a clutch putt of 9 feet on 18 to secure the win, with a final round 64.

Swafford, the 34-year-old former University of Georgia star, won The American Express for the second time (in 2017) and captured his third PGA TOUR title. Swafford won $1,368,000 (of the event’s $7.6 million purse) and 500 FedEx Cup points. He is projected to move inside the top 60 of the Official World Golf

Ranking and to No.7 in the 202122 PGA TOUR FedEx Cup standings. Swafford beat Tom Hoge by two and three other players by three, Brian Harman, Lanto Griffin, and Lee Hodges, after starting Round 4 three back of the leaders. Patrick Cantlay finished with a finalround even-par 72 to finish

NFL Playoff Schedule 2022

By Desert Star Staff The NFL playoff schedule for 2022 is in full swing, with four teams remaining in the postseason - the Buffalo Bills, Cincinnati Bengals, Los Angeles Rams, and San Francisco 49ers. For the first time since 2010, both No. 1 seeds were eliminated, with the Titans losing to the Bengals and the Packers falling to the 49ers on
