Southern California Railway Museum and Honoring USA Heroes host 9/11 Mobile Exhibit Father’s Day Weekend By Desert Star Staff Perris, California, Honoring USA Heroes, and Southern California Railway Museum memorializes the 20th anniversary of September 11 by hosting the 9/11 NEVER FORGET Mobile Exhibit. In 2013, the Tunnel to Towers Foundation launched
its Mobile Exhibit: a tribute to all those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001, including the 343 members of the Fire Department of New York City (FDNY) who made the ultimate sacrifice. The hightech, 83-foot tractor-trailer, which transforms into a 1,100 square foot exhibit, is a tool to
further educate people across the country about the events of that tragic day. https:// t2t.org/our-programs/911never-forget-mobile-exhibit. Welcomed around the nation, from the Black Hills of South Dakota to the Tennessee State Fairgrounds, the memorial provides
interactive education, including artifacts such as steel beams from the towers, documentary videos, and recordings of first responder radio transmissions. In addition, interactive guided tours are carried out by FDNY firefighters who provide firsthand accounts of the day and its aftermath. The Mobile
Exhibit, which has traveled to nearly all 50 states and Canada, has welcomed in over 500,000 people to date. This will be the first time the Exhibit will visit Southern California. Honoring USA Heroes is dedicated to making sure the Continues on Page 5

Gio Reyna and Weston McKennie each brought the USA back level during
regulation, tying the game at 1-1 and then 2-2, before Christian Pulisic drew and converted the game-winning penalty kick in the second overtime period. However, the drama was far from over as substitute goalkeeper and Colorado native Ethan Horvath saved Andrés Guardado’s penalty kick deep into stoppage time of the second overtime period as the dramatic final played in front of 37,648 fans at Empower Field at Mile High.
