1.7 Million Dollars raised during the 75th Annual Palm Springs Art Museum Gala
By Pat Krause The Palm Springs Art Museum celebrated its 75th anniversary in a big way at the Palm Springs Convention Center on March 15th. White towers lined the driveway, and a big 75th banner crossed the road to the entrance to the Convention Center. Cars going to Valet drove on white and black carpets.
Guests entered the Centers lobby under a wall and ceiling of lights that were adorned with flowers. A memorable moment entering the Gala. The Gala was sold out again this year. This special 75th Palm Springs Art Museum Gala began with cocktails and appetizers, followed by Dinner, Entertainment and Dancing. The entertainment
for the evening was provided by Live It Up Productions. The many many talented singers and dancers displayed an artistically done production. A video was shown that detailed the many contributions made by the Art Museum. The Video showed the growth of the Museum and the impact it has made in the Valley. Chairman of

Fast-paced, easy-to-learn and inexpensive to play, pickleball has gained enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels since it was invented in 1965 and the number of active pickleball players has nearly doubled in the country since 2010. to USA Pickleball Association, there are currently 1,900 places to play pickleball in the US with more courts being added each month. On March 7, Pickleball Channel, powered by Hyland’s Leg Cramps, made its internet debut. Every week, Pickleball Channel will bring web audiences new digital content from the quickly expanding world of pickleball. PickleballChannel.com is an interactive website that provides news and community resources for pickleball players and
organizations nationwide. The channel’s Executive Producer Rusty Howes says that with the lightning-speed growth of pickleball, there was a need for exciting digital content online to serve the sport’s growing fanbase. “PickleballChannel.com brings fans interesting stories and helpful tips in one accessible location,” says Howes. “It’s the place where Pickleballers young and old, novice and professional, can come together, tell their

Matzner. This is the largest Gala the Museum has held with over 800 guests. They also raised the most money, 1.7 million dollars, in their 75-year history. The most raised before was in 2009, which raised 1 million dollars. This Gala is the Museum’s largest fundraiser and benefits the Museum’s exhibition and educational programs.
