By Pamela Price The grand opening of the boutique Hotel Paseo in Palm Desert took place on May 1st as several hundred guests arrived to explore and admire the desert’s latest attraction and the only hotel in the desert with a poolside 26foot 1950 Airstream Cruiser Suite. The Hotel Paseo is a member of Marriott’s Autograph Collection located amidst El Paseo’s art galleries, chic boutiques, jewelry stores and designer shops. The Hotel Paseo has 142 rooms, on three the floors enhanced by three spacious suites. All accommodations feature complimentary WiFi,
room service, and a fully equipped fitness center. Amenities are impressive from concierge desk to all public spaces mandated nonsmoking. Pets are welcome with a maximum of 1 per guestroom with a non-refundable fee of $150 per stay. At the opening party, dapper General Manager Gil Reyes greeted arriving guests as they fanned out to the chic swimming pool terrace, most making their way to the dramatically lit Ballroom where ACT3 Restaurant + Bar, the hotel’s already favorite restaurant staged a lavish
