Pam, Please find a,ached a map of the property as requested. This property is unusual in that it has water rights from both COID (10.45 acres) and Swalley (8.0 acres). We do not have access to Swalley’s records, but the field to the NW nets at very close to 8.0 acres, so I would be surprised if they aren’t in good standing with Swalley, but That’s just my guess. As far as COID is concerned, the property is currently in really good shape with the excepPon of 6/10ths acre shown in pink/red. These areas do not appear to have been irrigated in over five years, and are subject to possible cancellaPon by the State of Oregon. Some of these unused water rights appear to be atop driveways or the like, and are likely to remain in this state of jeopardy. The balance appears that it could be corrected by addiPonal irrigaPon. It’s likely that remedial irrigaPon in the could be done in advance of any acPon by the State. The worst-case scenario is that the State would cancel the unused porPon of the water right, leaving the rest of the water rights in place. To be clear, the unused porPon of the water right would have to be brought to the State’s a,enPon by an outside source, rather that the District.
