First, an intro:

I’m Zippy, founder and director at Design Alive. Back in 2009, (yup back then) I was working as a graphic designer and instructor and loving every minute. I saw so many of my creative friends stuck in dead-end jobs they dreaded. I thought to myself — why can’t more frum, creative women launch a successful career? Why do they need to push it to the side because, ‘it doesn’t pay the bills’ or ‘I don’t want to go to secular college, or I dont want to spend 3 years studying) and most of all- to create a more passion filled, exciting, more in depth successful method of training.

That’s when Design Alive was born — a place for creative people to get top-level design training from their own homes and launch a successful career. And we continue to stay ahead of the game embracing cutting edge technology, adding new courses and bonuses and staying up to date with current trends.

“Taking

the web course was the best decision I’ve made! Within six months I’d already made double the cost of the course!”

Self-Paced Option

We get it. Life gets busy, and committing to a live course is just not on the cards. We’ve got the perfect option for you — the self-paced route.

(You can take the self-paced route for all courses, besides the Web Design course.)

...the details

The self-paced program is offered via video recordings of the classes which you can access from our website.

You get full instructor and tutor support throughout the course via email.

The course price and content is identical to the live classes.

The self-paced track is suitable for both men and women.

There is a time limit on each course.

...the good points

You’re in the driver’s seat. You choose the learning pace..

Start anytime. No need to wait for courses to start.

Stop & rewind recordings to watch parts of the class that you want to rewatch.

...on the flip side

No one is holding you accountable. You need to be self motivated.

(Though we will check in on you from time to time to see how it’s going.)

You don’t get instant replies to your questions as you would in a live class

There is a set time limit for each course.

(Check individual courses for details.)

And as with a live course, after doing a self-paced course, you get access to our active jobs board (where jobs get posted daily) and member forum (where you get help + friendship).
