Understanding your needs

Meeting the brief We work with our clients to create consistent and effective brand communications that are professional, distinctive and unique in the marketplace. With over 30 years experience in branding and communications design, we offer brand consultancy, branding workshops, brand strategy, creative design concepts and design implementation for both print and digital applications. We provide our clients with detailed brand guidelines to ensure accurate implementation and communication of all their brand messages.

5

Our design process explained STAGE 1

Brand study and visual audit “Your primary brand message must be about how special you are…”

Our first task is to get to know you and your company. We need to define the story you want to tell, not just the plain facts — we need to discover what makes you different through meeting with key personnel in your organisation. We combine this information with our visual audit of your communications, your key marketing and costing documents, which together will inform our Branding & Design implementation plan. This study and audit will inform our thinking and approach in the next stage of the project.

STAGE 2

Design concepts You must ensure consistency in your brand communications, both offline and online. The key to being a successful business is having a consistent brand. Your brand is all about how your clients experience what you do – the perception clients have of your organisation, but also the promise and reputation that your business holds. Therefore, your offline brand or ‘look’ should be consistent with your

6

online appearance. Once your design direction has been established, we can provide you with Brand Guidelines to ensure consistent standards of communication across all media platforms.

“Your online and offline brand strategy must be integrated and consistent.”

In this stage we will make proposals on how your design programme would work across a selection of digital and print applications. We will demonstrate a consistent look for your brand – from the smallest twitter identifier to your presence on a billboard. The creative director and senior designer will make a presentation of the proposed direction. The visuals will include a range of key digital and print collateral.

STAGE 3

Design development Based on your feedback on our proposed direction for your design programme, we will make any design modifications required and re-present the design items that were included in the presentation, before roll-out of other items are considered. It is understood that these items will have to be progressed simultaneously. Timelines with key milestones will be agreed with you for the full set of digital and print applications required. This stage includes all production and artwork required by our experienced in-house team.

Problem solving that cuts costs Rationalise – Standardise – Optimise With a combination of diverse skills, knowledge and experiences, coupled with the use “Lateral Thinking” Design Factory uses a creative approach, that involves ideas not often immediately apparent and that may not appear achievable or attainable, rather than the traditional “step-bystep” logic process. This as shown below, results in significant cost reduction in terms of procurement and obsolescence, increased efficiencies both at plant and artwork level and an innovative solution capable of being easily transferred.

If your organisation has been using the same document management systems for a long time, the prospect of change can be a daunting one. Millions of business-critical documents may be housed in these systems, and if you’re in the financial services sector, high levels of regulation are always an issue.

There are a number of reasons to undertake a content migration project... - Standardisation on a single repository - Upgrading an existing repository - Implementation of a more modern repository - Transferring a book of business in to, or out of the business.

It may seem tempting to accept your current situation rather than try to move millions of critical records. However, the ‘long finger’ option may no longer be viable.

CatGuard™ – the next generation

CatGuard Solo™ from Nanonord Nanonord’s CatGuard™ HFO cat fines measurement technology has just got better. With a more compact design and added options it comes also at a significantly lower total cost of ownership. The new version, CatGuard Solo™ launches on 9th September 2014. CatGuard Solo™ comes with the same patented NMR measurement technology as its predecessor at its core. It retains all the measurement capabilities but comes with added options for water, and sodium measurement. It is significantly more compact and is more robust. It is furthermore even simpler to install.
