Welcome to the December issue of Designer. As always, it is a fantastic way to end the year, with a magazine packed with all the results of the Designer Awards 2021.
We had a truly fantastic celebration of the very best of design that the industry has to offer and it was just incredible to be able to do it in person once again after last year’s necessarily virtual version of the awards.
That was great fun to do of course, but was no match for the chance to get together, network, and salute our winners in person. Our experience with last year’s awards – in having to switch to a very different format at relatively short notice – is perhaps a reflection of something that has been at the centre of things for probably everyone in the industry: adaptability.
