Anna Fahrmaier is a co-founder of the Austrian type and design agency Typejockeys. Professional type design, lettering and refreshing design with type – that’s the daily playground of the Vienna based creatives.
Since 2008 the small and independent foundry creates big type families, like Ingeborg and Henriette or display fonts like Sauber Script or Carabelle. Several of them awarded by notable institutions – including Type Directors Club New York or European Design Award.
Moreover, Typejockeys develops Custom Type, for example for the Austrian Post, Drei Hutchison, OMV, the waste management business Saubermacher, Mautner Markhof or XXXLutz. They work on environmental projects such as signage for buildings, architectural branding or park house orientation, draw logotypes for agencies or publishing houses and create letterings of all kinds.
