I think it can go without saying that 2020 is certainly one of the most memorable years of our lives. From the worldwide Coronavirus to one if not the most socially charged and acknowledged revolutions against racism and equality, to an epic presidential election. It has been a year for self reflection, self awareness and self care as our mental health takes a severe hit across all ages. Parents, children, educators and business owners (to name just a few) had to completely rethink the way they live and learn. Homes became schools and workplaces, anxiety and stress levels rose. Families, health care professionals and other front line essential workers took on the responsibility of keeping an entire world safe and alive. Who could imagine such a responsibility? As a small business owner and the only parent of two pre-teen girls, stress levels were high, but creativity and support were even higher. I had to learn to make better use of what was in my immediate reach by looking at the talent right in front of me. The talent within my team and within my incredible circle. While the entire world continues to change, how do we keep moving forward positively? We needed to make our
homes an even more special sanctuary than it was before. So we redesigned our lifestyle. For this year’s catalog, I graciously thank #teamDLK for their amazing hard work. Big applause to Tiffany Butler who has been by my side for several years now. Her artistic graphic design work and curation shines so bright this edition. Tiffany took the lead on the catalog and did it with grace and genuine craft. I couldn’t love it more! This year we included the emotionally stunning, photography of my dear friend, Sarah Alderman of AGP Collective. The photography and creative direction you see is all her and it’s damn good! With open arms (and a face mask), I thank them both for making another dream of mine come so beautifully to life. Pinch me. I am over the moon excited to bring you this year’s DLK Catalog. We’ve taken the events and experiences of this interesting year and curated pieces that we feel make our spaces and homes feel more connected and beautiful. MEET SARAH ALDERMAN a dear friend of DLK ‘ s founder and the mastermind of photography company, AGP Collective. Sarah Alderman has created quite the name for herself in the wedding photography industry since co-founding AGP Collective in 2012. It was simply a no brainer to work with her for this year’s catalog. She is one of the most creative, strong and beautifully independent women we have ever met. Alderman grew up in Pennsylvania and has had her own turbulent run through life, giving her a truly unique perspective and appreciation that is felt throughout her photography. She is confident, yet humble. She’s beautiful and emotional and one of the kindest souls you’ll come across. When asked what her greatest accomplishment was, Alderman answered simply, honestly, and humbly:
“The thing I’m most proud of is that I raised my twins as a single mom from the day they were born in 2008 until I got married in 2018. I started this photography business as a way to support them while I put myself through school as a full time student, and I had no photography experience prior. I named my business for our little family...The Alderman Girl Posse, or AGP. My photography work carried me from Point A to Point DLK. For that I feel so fortunate.“ Alderman’s style has a more eclectic, bohemian feel than what you may see and expect from DLK, and it is one of the reasons we found it so fun to work with her. We love surprises, mixing styles and showing how our curated

pieces vibe with all different aesthetics. Alderman was truly able to capture the beauty of each item, tell its own story, while incorporating what’s been so prevalent this year - social education. We gave Alderman complete creative freedom to photograph this year’s catalog and we adore every moment. We hope you enjoy seeing and “feeling” it as much as we do. SAY HELLO TO BUNDLE. NYC and the powerhouse New York City moms that started it all, Jeanann Genzano and Joanne Kapp. Best friends and long time colleagues, Jeanann Genzano and Joanne Kapp got hit with the unemployment wave during Covid-19 just like so many others. No strangers to turning lemons into lemonade, however they took what could have been a long lasting traumatic phase in their lives and made a dream of theirs finally come to fruition. With twelve years experience in the technology industry from working at companies such as Yahoo! and StubleUpon, Genzano and Kapp launched Bundle.NYC in June 2020. In the short amount of time that Bundle has been in existence, they have skyrocketed in popularity amongst
parents and there’s no turning back. Outgoing, ridiculously funny, and still to this day positive, these women continue to drive ahead and we’ve got a front row seat.

GET TO KNOW T HE WOMEN BEHIND BUNDLE
DLK: What was the first music album you ever owned? Jeanann: Nirvana, Tom Petty and Bush from a CD subscription. Do you remember those?! OMG! Joanne: Ace of Base cassette and TLC’s Crazy Sexy Cool CD. DLK: What is your favorite food combo that others really don’t like? Jeanann: Definitely BBQ Flavor Twists Fritos and beef jerky together! It’s a road trip and hangover must. People in the car really hate this. Joanne: I love Doritos. They’re like my favorite food. I’ll have them on sandwiches, wraps, hot dogs, and even quesadillas. DLK: We love a good cocktail. What’s your go to? Jeanann: Kombucha Cocktail - vodka, soda, splash of lemonade, and a splash of kombucha. It all started when I got this [holding a giant bottle of kombucha] from Trader Joe’s. Joanne: Paloma - tequila, club soda, grapefruit juice, a tiny bit of simple syrup. DLK: Describe to us your middle school self. Jeanann: One day, my hair got really blonde, my braces came off and my mom took me to Abercrombie & Fitch. It was like a feminine awakening. My school pictures went from super Tomboy to young woman. Joanne: I was Sporty Spice like three

times for Halloween, played almost every sport, and even tried out for the football team! I wore Adidas pants, sweats, and sneakers all the time. I was such a Tomboy! DLK: We should all have one. What’s a motto that you live by? Jeanann: Perfect Timing. I think in life, timing is a really funny thing. When you think something should be timed and how it’s timed and then it’s not, it can feel disappointing. But in reality, everything is perfectly timed. Joanne: Everyone is an ally. Everyone is a friend. A coworker said this during a meeting and a couple weeks later, it sunk in. You pretend everyone is an ally and everyone is there to help you so you treat them with kindness. It kind of impacted me in the last couple months.

DLK: Serious question, Jeanann. Who is this other Joanne? Jeanann: [Lauging] This particular Joanne is my five year old daughter, Stevie’s alter ego. She came up with the idea while on vacation and sparks were literally flying! She’s a middleaged hairdresser from Florida that is always exhausted from work and taking care of her million kids. Joanne loves beer, partying, and high heels. When she’s at work she constantly tells tales about her kids, school drop off, and her coworkers. Literally Stevie has this whole “Joanne Swagger” going on. I have no idea where it came from! And really, sometimes, I don’t know when it’s going to come out. It just comes out!
