Jn Memory o f . . . CATHY POTTER

"The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want" There is only one way to look when the day is dark and that is forward, where the sun is shining from behind the clouds. Happiness lies in meeting each day with a smile and going ahead. But death is one of the dark shadows we cannot answer. It is all in Divine hands. And I like to think when Cathy was called that perhaps she was favored - perhaps, to teach us a lesson on earth. For many things the individual can find no an swer. One of them is the way of life. All we know is that each day must be bruised, are still unbowed. We have had the privilege of sharing life with our beloved Cathy. It is a privilege that we can never forget. In that, we are richer by far than many m en--richer even today, I mean - in wonderful m em ories that only we as friends and classmates can re live. Alden J. Smith

Pep The Pep Squad is con sidered to be one of the essentials of Football sea son and Basketball season, because of its morale boosting spirit. The uni form this year consisted of black wool pleated skirts, white blouses un der black V-neck wool sweaters, with an orange megaphone on them, orange gloves, white bob by sox, and black tennis shoes. Mr. Alden J. Smith deserves much credit for his fine supervision, loy alty of tim e and spirit with the finest Bulldog Booster that Burk has ever seen.
