The Agricultural Centre is placed in the old part of Mu Shan village, Yunnan County, China, at the edge, to the right of the main entrance axis. Is represents a facility which enables villagers to work their land- main living sustaining source- and process the products more efficiently. Harmony Hills Centre aims to promote the traditional and agricultural values of the village, which formed its foundation, while being conscious about preserving the Huayao culture by separating the living spaces from the working ones, within the village as well as the design. The architectural details, aspect and the space organisation were mainly inspired from places seen throughout the trip in Yunnan and represents a social and economical response to the villagers’ needs, portraying a calm and tranquil environment.
