Two Greek politician who believed in the idea of the united Europe.

First head of state of independent Greece

Kapodistias believed in independence of European people.

In 1809 Kapodistrias entered the service Alexander I of Russia. His first important mission, was as unofficial Russian ambassador to Switzerland.He secured Swiss unity, independence and neutrality, which were formally guaranteed by the Great Powers. "

Kapodistrias tried to transform Greece in a European state leaving behind the old ottoman way.

RIGAS FERAIOS

(1757- 1798)

Rigas dreamt the creation of a federal Pan Balkan state.

He printed pamphlets based on the principles of the French Revolution, including Declaration of the Rights of Man and of the Citizen and New Political Constitution of the Inhabitants of Rumeli, Asia Minor, the Islands of the Aegean, and the principalities of Moldavia and Wallachia — these he intended to distribute in an effort to create a PanBalkan free federal state.
