Letter from the Editor:
Dear readers,
Love is in the air! Whether you're falling in love in Baja or with Baja, it's no secret that this magical land is the ideal place to celebrate love. As your ultimate guide to everything Baja, we want our readers to know everything that goes on in our destination. In this edition, we're talking about weddings! Los Cabos has been a dream destination for weddings for a long time, ever since Keith Richards and Patti Hansen got married here back in the eighties!
Find out about all the celebrities who have gotten married in Los Cabos, how to have a stress-free wedding in our Baja Bubble column, and all about alternative wedding ceremonies! Additionally, Cristina Galullo's "Bride in Green: Tips from A to Z for a Sustainable Wedding in Cabo and Anywhere Else" is incredibly informative and a fun read! We also talked to Lynette Dow about what makes a wedding planner extraordinary. Lynnette has been in the industry for 11 years and has seen how the landscape has evolved throughout the years, making our destination a hotspot for weddings!
Also, in this edition, our Destino Social section is filled with our favorite memories from our last edition's cover unveiling event at Cabo Wabo and Porto Novo's Coctails and Construction.
In our real estate section, read about what a day in the life of a home inspector is like, why it's a great time to invest in Los Cabos, and how golf changed Baja forever!
Our Publisher, Owen Perry, recently launched his new book, "Plan E: How to be Successful in Today's World." It is an inspiring book you will enjoy. You can find the QR code within these pages to order it online.
Exciting news! We are launching our brand new Destino Verified section in this issue! We created this directory as a convenient and practical guide for our readers to learn about services and businesses we know and trust.
Putting this edition together made me realize not only how much Los Cabos has changed over the years but how Destino Magazine has grown and evolved, as well. It wouldn't be possible without our great team and you, our dear reader. We hope you feel the love in the air and enjoy this edition!
I would love to hear from you! Reach out to me at dana@destinoloscabos.com or hop on Instagram and say hi at @askdanatv

Although Los Cabos is sunny most of the year, you should keep in mind that there are specific seasons for some activities. Read our tips below if you want to know the best time of the year to catch some waves, go scuba diving, whale watching or plan a wedding.
TO AVOID CROWDS
FOR GOOD DEALS
May to October (excluding major holidays)
There is a higher chance of finding discounted airfare and hotel rates since it is considered the off-season.
August and September
These two months see the greatest number of cloudy days and a slight chance of hurricanes. With an average of only 18% chance of rain, many sunny days remain to be had.
FOR SNORKELING & DIVING
May to November
During this time, the water temperature is warm, and the visibility is excellent, making it an ideal time to explore the underwater world.
FOR SURFING
June to September
These months also offer warm water temperatures, making it comfortable to surf without a wetsuit. May to October is the best time to surf in the Sea of Cortez. The second half of the year, November to April, is the season to surf in the Pacific side.
FOR SPORTSFISHING
Late May through December
These months are also considered the peak fishing season in the area, with many fishing tournaments taking place throughout the summer months. August through January is the best season if you are planning on fishing Tuna or any type of Marlin, while Yellowtail bite from February to May.
