Editor’s Letter
What Motivates Me Daily GOD has to be in the beginning, the middle and the end. My motivation begins with the fact of opening my eyes every morning and seeing the daylight through my window. The fact that GOD is giving me another opportunity to say I will make a difference today, I will spread hugs and smiles today and I will motivate others today. Each day gives me hope that humans will allow themselves to generate a positive motivation through the universe that will attract positive motivation to others. This type of motivation will reach the masses of individuals that are determined to change the world. When we trickle down positivity to others, it will make a difference in the thought pattern of positive individuals. GOD gives us all the tools necessary to motivate ourselves through out the day. Our daily motivational tools can consist of a pleasant smile from a small child, a waitress kindness, a family laughing together and people overcoming adversities. We must allow ourselves to observe our surroundings more and see how it may motivate not only ourselves but others in our communities. My motivation for this year is beginning with the needs of other women, our children, especially the disabled and the disadvantage boys and girls. My positive energy serge is motivating me to stand out from the crowd, take the hard criticism and make changes for my community, my family and my friends on a national level. LET GOD MOTIVATE YOU TODAY! Tawana Tawana Shervon Dirton

Michelle: I’m Casting Director for Television and Film, my purpose is to open doors for new faces to get the chance to breakout & become the new face for Black Hollywood. Since we recycle our actors, it’s so hard for a new up and coming actor to get the chance to break-out in this business. I love what I do and I have the passion for the craft, seeing actors shine and getting them their big break.
Destiny: Are you married and do you have any children? Michelle: No I’m not married. I’m in an amazing relationship with an awesome man that supports everything I do. Set Goals an exceed them with short and long-term goals. Make sure that your goals are attainable and realistic. Goals can be set in a three month increments for short-term and in six to twelve month increments for long-term goal. A good idea is to create a vision board that gives you a better sense of motivation. By using pictures of a person, place and thing to represent your future endeavors on what you want to become. This is only one example that I suggest you utilize to motivate yourself. Destiny: What do you think about women running for President and do you think that the world is ready? Michelle: I think a woman running for president is long over due and I believe we could run the country just as well as a man, if not better. The world is ready and waiting to see what’s next for our presidency. Maybe, Michelle Obama will be the next president of the United States. Destiny: Since I love to cook and eat gourmet

Along with my dad James Adams, who passed away in 2010 from pancreatic cancer, has always been very encouraging and supporting of my career.
