If you are having a breast augmentation, reduction, or reconstruction, your exact cup size will not be determined until after the procedure. All the measurements on our size chart are important. Measuring Instructions: To ensure a proper fit, please have someone else take your measurements and avoid wearing bulky clothes. Your feet should be hip width apart and your arms relaxed at your sides. We recommend using a cloth measuring tape. Hold the tape level and firmly, but do not allow it to “dig” into your skin or clothing. Under Bust Measurement: Before surgery, measure around the chest, directly beneath the breasts using the diagram on the right as a guide. This is your under bust measurement. Optimal compression and support require accurate measurements. To accommodate dressings or excessive swelling, you may prefer a larger size

Waist Measure around the narrowest part of the waistline around or above the navel. Lower Hip Measure around the fullest part of the lower hip area, keep tape measure parallel to the floor. Upper Bicep With arms relaxed at your sides, measure around the fullest part of the upper arm, at or above the bicep you will need someone to take this measurement.
Measuring and fit tips… The zippered girdles are true to your preoperative size to accommodate immediate postoperative swelling. As the swelling subsides, a non-zippered girdle should be worn to provide a more contoured fit and additional compression. Measure twice for accuracy. Remove shoes. When between sizes; choose the larger size.
Please note that compression garments are not available from the hospital. We advise that you should place your order at least 3 weeks prior to your departure to ensure delivery of garments
Garment Information Ordering Your Destiny Meditravel consultant will provide you with information about the wearing of compression garments. that we encourage you read . The wearing of a quality compression garment is an essential part of your recovery to ensure expected results of your surgery are acheived. Please advise your consultant the garments that you wish to order no later than 2 weeks prior to your planned departure date
Why Buy Two? Due to the fact that surgical garments must be worn continuously for a prolonged period of time during recovery. It is recommended to have two or more post-operative garments. One to wear while the other is being laundered. Also one garment without zippers for after a few weeks after surgery. The more time spent with a garment on the better the results.
Washing/Care Hand-wash, cold water, mild soap, line dry only. DO NOT use bleach, fabric softner, or iron. To minimize bloodstain pre-soak in solution of one tablespoon hydrogen peroxide per 4 litres of water.
