A project recording the ordinary and extraordinary details of everyday life in Huntly
The Caravan Gallery is here in Huntly from mid July to mid August to do a project about Pride of Place.
The Caravan Gallery is a gallery in a caravan and socially engaged visual arts project run by artist duo Jan Williams and Chris Teasdale. Since 2000 they have been recording the ordinary and extraordinary details of everyday life in 21st Century Britain and beyond, sharing their observations in publications, specially devised exhibitions in The Caravan Gallery and venues ranging from empty shops to prestigious art galleries.
Teh Caravan has been in the square for the last few weeks exhibiting their Huntly collection, speaking to passers by, collecting stories, asking people to write on the map of Huntly any unusual sites of interest and asking people to make a Huntly souvenir.
The residency ends the weekend of 10th and 11th August during the Room to Ro
