So What Exactly Is Design Thinking? 1) At its fundamental level, ‘Design thinking’ is a problem-solving method. 2) Furthermore, it’s a ‘deeply human’ and non-linear process 3) One thinks like a ‘designer’ to develop an innovative solution that addresses people’s needs. 4) It places the people at the center and then thinks not just about a solution but also about how those people will feel when they use the solution.

Design thinking Process:
FIVE STAGES DESIGN THINKING PROCESS
Empathize
Empathise The Design Thinking process starts by understanding the problem you are trying to solve. This is achieved through consultation with experts and engaging in observation, empathy for others’ experiences, and personal immersion into a physical environment so that your knowledge can be more thorough.

Define (the Problem) Finally, you complete the Define stage by putting together all of your information and synthesizing it in order to define what problems need solving. This is done through formulating a human-centered statement about how these issues affect people on both an individual level as well as within society at large

Ideate You and your team members can start to “think outside the box” to identify new solutions to the problem statement you’ve created, and you can begin to look for alternative ways of viewing the problem. You can apply the Ideation techniques to arrive at the best solutions.

Prototype
Prototype The design team will produce mockup versions of the product. So they can investigate the problem solutions generated. Prototypes may be shared and tested within the group itself. Furthermore, mockups could give a clearer view of how real users behave, think, and feel when interacting with the end product.
