This project is about linking the EXPO 2015 site with a central point of Milan through out the design of an agricultural thematic bike path. The project selected area is in the south-west perimeter of Milan in the protected natural and agricultural park “Parco Agricolo Sud Milano”.
In addition, answering to the identified need of proper working conditions in community gardens, the design intervention will focus in the industrial design of an orchard station. This unit will improve the aesthethics of the network of communities gardens in the “Parco Sud Milano” . Giving character to the sites, this will attract locals and EXPO 2015 visitors and provide them with a pleasant aesthetic experience.
