I’ll keep this brief and simple and let all my works do the talking. So,

Hi! I’m Diana David. Diana David. It seems like I have two last names but that’s just it. Besides design, I also like to cook food and eat. This year, I learned how to run properly. It doesn’t look like it but I really dream of becoming a triathlete some day. If you wish to know more about myself, or if you like dogs and zombies and wish to arrange a theoretical escape plan if ever a zombie apocalypse is going to happen, you may reach me @ dianafdavid.gmail.com

Contents Print Design This may include illustrations. I really like to layout.

Photography Some photos were taken from a short film I’ve done with good company.

Fine Arts

Most works are the outcome of my love-hate relationship with traditional media.

SOH Week: Art Fair As a freshman, I was very excited in volunteering for my school’s week in which we get to celebrate the arts and the humanities through different events. During the SOH Week/Arete 2015, I was tasked to do promotions for the Art Fair where students of the humanities were able to showcase and sell their artworks.

Last school year, several Creative Writing Majors asked GRIDS to design their chapbooks. Being one of the Design Pool - Print Design members, I volunteered to do at two chapbook covers in exchange for a free copy of the book. I had so much fun manipulating the “Super Heroes Exposed” text and also playing with the textures in “Fallout” using different blending modes. GRIDS Design Challenge: Design a Branding/Identity for the Hell Week in Ateneo The prompt was as straightforward as the title suggests. I created a zombie-themed Hell Week, hence the eagle, since I thought that during hell weeks in Ateneo — sans the blood, empty cars, cracked roads, and other things you usually see in The Walking Dead — the campus looks like it’s set in a zombie apocalypse. Everyone deprived of sleep, in their hoodies and their eye bags popping out of their faces is a zombie. Lettering and Illustration by Diana David — both objects were sketched then vectorized in Illustrator

Tarpaulins for the Commemoration of Apolinario Mabini’s 150th Death Anniversary Exhibit in the New Rizal Library Also during my freshman year, I volunteered to create tarpaulins/infographics for Baybayin Ateneo’s project which is an exhibit honoring Apolinario Mabini for the commemoration of his 150th Death Anniversary. GRIDS Clientwork: AHEALS Project Also volunteered for another GRIDS Clientwork for the Ateneo Center for Health Evidence, Action, and Leadership. I created several infographics out of the 50 infographics published for their publication called “Prescriptions.” Fonts used: Geogrotesque Bold Brandon Grotesque Illustrations by Isa de Vera

Kung Lungsod Mismo ang Cubao. I created this out of my love for the city and the novel we read for Filipino 14 under Dr. Edgar Samar. This booklet was submitted as one of my creative outputs for the subject. Fonts used: Gotham Bold Bell MT
