First shot

Monday, March 12 I need coffee.

a project explanation For this week’s Daily Design (in which I design something Monday through Friday), I thought I’d go back to (my) basics and merge page layout with photography. So this week I’ll be sharing the first photo I take in a given day. Let’s start....

7:15AM

Tuesday, March 13 Books for the week. Andy Cohen is inspiring me to start journaling. Peeling The Wild Onion (published by the Junior League of Chicago back in 2008) is giving me recipe ideas, specificlly dessert for a dinner party we’re going to on Saturday. (I think I’m going wtih brownies.)

I watched my neighbor leave for work from my kitchen window at 6:30AM. That’s early!

Wednesday, March 14 Happy Pi Day. As soon as I opened my eyes,Giada approached me and growled to be let out. (Did I mention that it snowed yesterday? And that we’re less than a week away from the start of spring?)

thursday, March 15 Hello hello. So this is a wall outside of the K-Mart in Des Plaines, Illinois. Last summer (or maybe the summer before), this wall had a mural that said “HELLO on it. I kept meaning to get a picture of it. When I finally got around to it, it was gone. The lesson here is to act quickly. Always. :)

hello What it kinda, sorta looked like. Somewhat.

Friday, March 16 I spotted this two weeks ago on my way to work. You can’t tell in this picture, but it’s pretty pink. And pretty fabulous.

Saturday, March 17

P.S. Thanks for flipping through this!
