Cherry Pie Wontons Very simple, very easy, and insanely delicious!

1 can cherry pie filling (or fresh) 1 package square wonton skins Cinnamon Powdered sugar 1 spray can extra virgin olive oil Water

"Here is a recipe, not exactly cookies, but better than cookies. It is Sara Cagle’s favorite dessert."

Prep: Take one wonton skin, and using a spoon place a cherry in the center of the skin. Sprinkle with cinnamon to taste. Using a brush or finger, wet the edges of the wonton skin with water. Using your thumbs and index fingers on the center of each side of the skin, press the sides together until they form an “x”, and seal the edges. Repeat to create as many wontons as wanted. Cook: Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Cover a cookie sheet with aluminum foil and spray with a non-stick cooking spray. Place wontons one inch apart on the cookie sheet. Using oil spray, lightly coat all sides of the wontons. Place in oven and bake for 5-7 minutes, or until the edges begin to brown. Wontons may burst or overflow, so allow them to cool for 5 minutes. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and enjoy with vanilla ice cream!
