Ginger Creams Ingredients ¼ cup shortening ½ cup sugar 1 egg 1/3 cup molasses 2 cups flour ½ tsp baking soda ½ tsp salt 1 tsp ginger ½ tsp cloves ½ tsp cinnamon ½ cup water Directions Cream together shortening and sugar. Add egg. Beat well. Stir in molasses. Add dry, sifted ingredients alternately with water. Drop by teaspoonful on greased cookie sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes at 350F. Frost when warm with your favorite icing.
