The Children's Crusade, set between Volterra and Firenze, this story tells of the crusade made entirely of young boys, which in 1212 tried in vain to reach the Holy Land. During her night broadcast, Desdemona gets a call announcing the presence of human bones in an excavation construction. Are these the remains of those young crusaders, or evidence of a more recent and tragic murder?
