Over the years, we have improved in many ways. But one thing has always remained the same: Hochfirst's unique and magical location directly at the foot of the incomparable summit landscape. The ability to access the slopes directly from the hotel is arguably the hotel's greatest luxury! This feature allows you to fully immerse yourself in our fantastic winter landscape, which stretches from 1,900 metres up to the realm of 3,000 metre giants.
This is ski-in & ski-out at its best in the snowiest winter sports resort in the Alps.
On 20 November we will be celebrating an anniversary winter here at Hochfirst. A special highlight will be the Audi FIS Ski World Cup Slaloms for women and men on 23 and 24 November. It is certainly no coincidence that both races have been awarded to Gurgl. Top ski stars also appreciate the high quality and reliability of the snow in the Obergurgl-Hochgurgl ski resort!

We don't have to sell you on Gurgl as a ski destination. It is well known for its extensive and reliably snowy slopes, which stretch from the village up to the 3,000 metre peaks. Best of all, entry to this winter sports paradise is easy because here at Hochfirst you always have one foot on the slopes. So strap on your skis at the back of the house, take the feeder lift to the Festkogl gondola, and glide right into your day's skiing. Gear up for pure enjoyment, from your first turn to the last, right outside your door, of course!

In our à la carte restaurant "Gourmetstube Hochfirst" you will discover culinary masterpieces prepared with love and the flair of true experts. Awarded 3 toques by Gault&Millau in 2020, the ambience of these rooms is as impressive as the preparation of the food. From regional to international, but always with the finest quality and refinement, the menu combines the most diverse culinary worlds. This is a gourmet experience to crown any holiday.

Our commitment to exquisite food and drinks accompanies you throughout the day at Hochfirst. It all starts with a sumptuous breakfast buffet, with freshly prepared eggs from the show kitchen and many healthy delicacies from the organic section.
In the evening, our kitchen team will treat you to an exquisite 6-course gourmet menu in the restaurant, offering a creative interpretation of down-home cuisine and some very pleasant surprises for the palate in our gloriously decorated dining rooms. In addition to the menu, you can create your own à la carte menu from a selection of options. With a glass of fine wine from our world-class cellar, toast the day's wonderful experiences in style!
During the day, our kitchen team will also pamper you with its à la carte menu (at extra charge) on the sun terrace, in the pool restaurant and in our restaurant.

Wine tastings & private dining
Our "Santé" wine bar is a special place for special moments of pleasure. Here you can indulge in good taste in an intimate setting, from a wine tasting with our sommelier to a private dining experience with a gourmet menu or fondue in an exclusive atmosphere.
At the inviting barrel-oak table, set off by illustrious lamps and handmade glasses, the rarities from the walk-in red wine cellar will also come to the fore. Santé!

Useful information… Hochfirst’s Reservation Policies
RATES
All rates include half board. The local tax of € 4.00 per person/day will be added separately.
DEPOSIT
50% of the total amount will be charged at reservation. Reservations can only be guaranteed if the deposit is paid on time.
CANCELLATIONS
After reservations have been made, the rules and regulations of the Conditions of Austrian Hotels apply, also for cancellations. We will charge the full amount according to the reservation even if you depart early. We recommend purchasing a travel insurance policy.
PAYMENT METHODS
We accept the following credit cards: Visa, American Express, Mastercard, as well as Austrian, German and Dutch ATM cards.
PETS
Pets are not allowed anywhere at the Alpen-Wellness Resort.
ROOMS
We will try to consider your specific room wishes, but we cannot make guarantees. Room plans and interior illustrations may differ slightly from actual rooms.
CHECK IN / CHECK OUT
Rooms are ready from 4:00 pm on the day of arrival. The rooms remain available to you until 11:00 am on the day of departure. Please contact us if you would like to check out late (surcharge).
PARKING GARAGE
We would be pleased to reserve a parking garage space for an additional charge of € 15.00 per day.
A DIRECT APPROACH TO THE ÖTZTAL VALLEYARRIVING BY HELICOPTER
At eye level with the Tyrolean mountains: In cooperation with Heli Tirol, we offer exclusive journeys by helicopter, which will fly you directly from the Innsbruck and Munich airports to the Ötztal valley where a shuttle will await you at the heliport in Hochgurgl to take you to the Hochfirst.
