CO-PRESIDENTS’ WELCOME

e’re thrilled to be back for the 63rd annual Winter Park Sidewalk Art Festival. The festival is a time to appreciate art and the people who create it, bringing artists from around the country to our community to showcase their talents. What makes art so special? What makes this event a tradition worth continuing year after year? Art is a beauty that reaches us all differently, with the power to transcend the ordinary and give us joy and gratitude anew. We could all use a little more of that — particularly now! In Winter Park, we’ve always found a way to celebrate what art represents. As co-presidents of this year’s festival, we’re thrilled to welcome you back. We love this festival because it not only gives us that piece of beauty and transcendence, it also brings us together and shares such special artists with the community. And this wouldn’t be an art festival without music! As part of our opening act, we had an incredible jazz concert headlined by Eric Darius on Saturday night, March 12. We couldn’t think of a better way to kick off the event. None of this would be possible without your help and support. We have a tremendous volunteer board of directors who make this event happen. We currently have 40 board members who spend countless hours to deliver this festival to you. Thank you for making this event a reality! We also must thank the Patrons who give generously to support the artists in our show as well as our sponsors, 6 63RD WINTER PARK SIDEWALK ART FESTIVAL
festival volunteers and active sustaining board members, who provide hours of service to support this massive effort. In addition, we have our wonderful city officials, employees and officers who lend a huge hand to securing and organizing. However you partake, we hope this year that you appreciate all art has to offer, and the community that drives it.
