Introduction
MISSION To Create an alternative For Plastic Sequins and Book Covers {single use plastic}.
VISION Even the minute decorative should be the part of circular economy.
PROBLEM NO. 1
PLASTIC SEQUINS They may appear inert and innocent and are certainly aesthetically pleasing, but there are problems associated with sequins all along their life cycle. And even if you’re still not convinced, sticking it in the washing machine is a whole problem in itself as sequins will likely fall off and go down the drain. If they’re not caught by sewage works, they’ll end up in our oceans - as part of the 13 million tonnes of plastic dumped in there each year - and likely be gobbled up by some poor unsuspecting fish that thought it was a pleasantly easy-catch for lunch. PVC plastic is made with toxic additives called phthalates, which gives sequins their flexible and durable qualities,” says Dr Farrelly. “These additives are hormone-mimicking chemicals that disrupt the endocrine systems of the bodies of animals and humans. There’s been a lot of work linking these chemicals to a wide range of diseases.”
Plastic Book Covers REMOVABLE & NOT REMOVABL E Our generation (Gen z) has used plastic covers for years without giving a thought about environment. In my previous school and near by ones have nearly 16,000 students and if each student uses 20 notebooks and books per year , it comes to over 3.2 lakhs notebooks. Using plastics leads to environmental pollution, in which there are some poor quality covers which contains toxic materials such as formaldehyde and benzene, which may cause harm to children’s nervous systems and physical development which is nothing but destruction of their future by coming to school.

BANANA LEAF SEQUINS
Conclusion Why not challenge the notion that human industry must is damaging the natural world. In fact, why not take nature itself as our model? A tree produces thousands of blossoms in order to create another tree, yet we do not consider its abundance wasteful but safe, beautiful, and highly effective. This small initiative is to contribute in the circular economy.
