s a local institution, we’re secure in our service and reputation with our many clients and extended real estate family throughout Southern California. You can’t serve a state for nearly 7 decades without being fairly certain you’re getting a few things right. But as a company, we’ve never been one to rest on our longevity and track record alone. This allows all of our agents the ability to benefit from the global reach, rich professional portfolio, and power affiliates we’ve amassed over nearly 7 decades. Apart from our company-centered listing book, we’ve also released an agent Profile Book. Compiled and designed by our talented creative team, this book is prepared personally for each agent. The newly launched and re-branded Profile Book allows agents the opportunity to present a cohesive, professional image entirely unique to their experience, skill-set, and personality.

CHARITABLE FOUNDATION At Dilbeck Real Estate, Charity Begins at Home! We understand how important it is to give back to the community. In 2001, Mark Dilbeck, President of Dilbeck Real Estate, along with the management team, formed the Dilbeck & Associates Charitable Foundation, a nonprofit organization. In 2017, our foundations is still going strong.

D

ilbeck Real Estate along with Sales Partners and employees make contributions to the Foundation and in return, the Foundation contributes to local non-profit organizations that promote the welfare of the com-

munities they serve. These charities support civic and community services, healthcare, scientific research, youth activities, art and culture and create positive changes in and around the communities in which Dilbeck Real Estate serves. Over the years, the Foundation has contributed over $400,000 to various organizations. Our partner organizations share our vision for a healthy and safe Southern California, and have the same ideals that have helped Dilbeck Real Estate remain a stable, company for decades. This year, we’ve partnered with local organizations that are invested in creating a safe, healthy, and vibrant future for all. We’ve been a part of the communities we serve for decades and have been involved in finding generations of families their homes. We’ve built futures, secured finances and helped thousands of friends and clients find their place in our unique state. Needless to say, Southern California is important to us and we’ve dedicated our time and resources to ensure the communities we know and love continue to grow and thrive.

Habitat for Humanity partners with people in your community, and all over the world, to help them build or improve a place they can call home. Habitat homeowners help build their own homes alongside volunteers and pay an affordable mortgage. With your support, Habitat homeowners achieve the strength, stability and independence they need to build a better life for themselves and for their families. Through our 2020 Strategic Plan, Habitat for Humanity will serve more people than ever before through decent and affordable housing. This year, Dilbeck Real Estate partnered with Habitat for Humanity in Pasadena, CA to lend much needed support and manpower to their local efforts. Dilbeck agents and employees alike rolled up their sleeves (literally!) to help build better homes and better futures for their community.

ABILITYFIRST STROLL & ROLL

AbilityFirst provides a variety of programs designed to help people with disabilities achieve their personal best throughout their lives. They do this by: creating targeted programming to help an individual successfully transition from childhood to adult life; providing employment preparation, training, and experience; building social connections and independence; and, offering both our participants and their caregivers an opportunity to refresh and recharge through our recreational activities. Dilbeck Real Estate was thrilled to partner with AbiityFirst on their Annual Stroll & Roll where we walked, ran, jogged, and donated our way to a fun and successful event. In 2017 alone, Dilbeck Real Estate and AbilityFirst were able to raise over $833,000!

PEN + NAPKIN

Pen + Napkin’s mission is to provide free professional design services to solve needs in the community. They furnish and decorate the homes of families and individuals transitioning out of homeless shelters and into their first real HOME. “50% of families moving out of transitional homeless shelters and into their first home without furniture end up back on the street. With furniture that statistic drops to 1%.” - HumbleDesign. They aren’t just installing furniture into these homes, but installing hope. Dilbeck Real Estate is a proud sponsor and volunteer for Pen + Napkin, supporting their efforts to bring beauty, hope, and a sense of home to those in need. Our agents join these designers and home experts to lend their talents and passion to a powerful and impactful cause. Our partnership with P+N seeks to build on the foundation we continue to build within our communities, friends, and neighbors.

L A U S D H O M E L E S S YO U T H | B A C K PA C K D R I V E

While a home may lay its foundation with concrete and steel, education is the foundation from which each life is built. At Dilbeck, we’ve partnered with LAUSD Homeless Youth to ensure every child has access to the very foundation that will carry them through to success. Through a Backpack Drive, our agents are sponsoring backpacks outfitted with all the supplies needed to support a child through their academic school year. So far, we’ve been able to donate much needed school materials to homeless or at-risk youth, with more agents answering the call to action each day.

Arranged game show style, Branch Manager Eric Benz, hosted this years event with his own brand of humor, support, and expertise. Expertly shepherding agents through a litany of accolades, Eric had the supreme pleasure of bringing our company into 2107 while looking back on the principles that made 2016 a success. This year, Dilbeck proudly proclaimed “We Are Family�. For the annual event, each branch office was asked to represent a famous family in television history.

Honor & Prestige: The Raymond T. Dilbeck Award Every year The Raymond T. Dilbeck Memorial Award serves as a reminder of the core values from which Dilbeck Real Estate was created. It also serves as recognition to those Dilbeck agents and employees that exemplify the traits Raymond T. Dilbeck valued. Ray was known and loved for his character, integrity, honesty, hard work, caring support for others and a commitment to family, both personal and professional. The recipient is selected by a committee of past recipients based on nominations from within the company. The 2016 recipient, Barry Jones, represents the very heart of the Dilbeck experience.
