With the wind blowing, I'll jump!

WITH THE WIND BLOWING JUMP I’LL

Maybe it could break during
But, if you don’t jump you’ll never know
No matter how big your fears are,

are, you will always have your parachute that opens when you jump!

know that it exists and follows you through the falling.

during the fall, but it will never leave you.

You will repair it, ready for the next jump!

With the wind blowing I will jump

Like a whisper on the wind I will run

Free falling back to heart I will cover you

I will be your parachute and we’ll rise above the darkest skies

parachute

a cloth canopy which fills with air and allows a person or heavy object attached to it to descend slowly when dropped from an aircraft, or which is released from the rear of an aircraft on landing to act as a brake.

a folding, umbrellalike, fabric device with cords supporting a harness or straps for allowing a person, object, package, etc., to float down safely through the air from a great height, especially from an aircraft, rendered effective by the resistance of the air that expands it during the descent and reduces the velocity of its fall.

With the wind And the world Free falling Like leaves When you’re And it’s getting Free falling Like flakes Oh, I will be I’ll always And we’ll rise

I know you guide When of all I’d rather fly Oh, I will be I’ll always,

So we thought To see what Free falling I’ll follow See you walking

Of me I never Ascend to beautiful Of all that’s Oh, I will be I’ll always And we’ll rise I know you’ll When of all I’d rather fly Oh, I will be I’ll always, I’ll always

I will keep in mind that unti men grow wings, their parachutes must be dependable I will never pass over any defect, nor neglect any repair, no matter how small I will stand ready to jump with any parachute which I have certified as properly I will remember always that the other man’s life is as dear to him as mine is to I will be sure—always

DESIGN PROCESS

The project started as a continuation of our last Womenswear and Menswear Workshop, then I reconnected it to some concepts that I analyzed on my previous project for the Con temporary Workshop, finding a middle ground of my minimal woman and my extravagant girly world.

According with CHB Christian Boaro’s style, the main colors follow the same chromatic range, with two prominent colors that give more impact to the whole collection. Big, soft and dramatic volumes are balanced with pieces that are tighter and show the body shapes.

The sustainable aspects in this project are various and developed in different ways. First of all the choice of the materials, woven fabrics that came from dead stocks, wool yarn was bought from a Social Cooperative that sells, among other things, also dead stocks and leftover coming from big companies. Bottoms, zips and other accessories came from leftover too and from waste clothes.

The colors choice for the outwear pieces has been made to create a long-life product. White, dust blue, olive green, grey, dust pink, are colors that never go out and match with everything, season after season, and the nylon material, witch they have been created, gives them hard and durable qualities.

Another important aspect about sustainability in this project, is the zero waste design used mostly for the knitwear part.
