A HANDBOOK ON TEA MIXOLOGY
tea rules for bartenders

ixology, as everyone who has a passion for it knows, is about getting the perfect mix of flavours that hits the right spot. For someone who is just discovering the magic of the world of bartending, or mixology as we call it, the dizzying number of bottles filled with innumerable liquids of all the colours of the rainbow might look a complex Rubik’s Cube. But, that’s the talent of a great mixologist: to have a million ideas for new drinks running through his mind at any given time, and being able to reach just the right liquid with the flick of a wrist. So how does tea, the brew of the genteel and sedate, fit in to this highly charged world of mixology? Perfectly well, we’d say; because you can have tea any which way you like it. Shaken, or stirred.
