mjf930@gmail.com I have reported numerous concerns over the last few years, in order that they can be put right, including parking issues and graffiti, and am keen for further action to be taken to eradicate these problems. Many of you will know me as a local Liberal Campaigner, however the Parish Council is composed of councillors with varying or no political bias at all. We work as a team for the greater good of the community. Although I have not served for long, I do have a strong vision for Hampton and I look forward to helping shape and develop the area and secure its future and prosperity.

Christ the Servant King "What is truth?" Pontius Pilate is reported to have asked at the trial of Jesus 2,000 years ago. It seems like a pertinent question even today. If you look online at some of the conspiracy theories about the moon landing, the death of Princess Diana or JFK, there seems to be a lot of people who believe things many of us might consider to be absurd. But for them it is truth. We all carry around with us our own version of truth. There is no shortage of information, comment and opinion bombarding us 24/7 through modern media. Even in the scientific realm experts stand on each side of arguments which you would hope could be settled by cold hard facts; the safety of nuclear power or fracking, the causes of climate change and whether or not eating fat is bad for you. Sadly that is not the case and arguments rage on.
The assault on our senses these days of so much information and opinion adds to the widespread sense of insecurity in our modern age. Young people are told that they can be whatever they want to be – patently untrue unless they have the talent and application to pursue their chosen dream. So where does this leave us? Each must decide for ourself our own version of truth. Jesus said, “I am the Way, the Truth, the Life”, and a sense of His uniqueness is conveyed through many other words recorded in the Bible. If you want to know more, do come and join us any Sunday morning at CSK at 10am as we journey and discover more together.

trolling around Hargate recently a movement in the bushes caught my eye. A tiny little fellow was hopping around some protruding twigs. I shall call her Jenny Wren, for that is her Old English name, whose origin is lost in the mists of time, but commonly found in old nursery rhymes. This tiny bird is often thought to be Britain’s smallest bird but the less common goldcrest is actually smaller. I have seen several wrens but only ever one goldcrest. For those with longer memories, the smallest British coin, the farthing, will be remembered as having a picture of a wren etched
8
upon it. There is also much folklore associated with the wren. The Irish saints considered it a magical bird and the Druids a bird of prophecy. It has always been seen as unlucky to kill a wren. Wrens have a very loud voice for such a small bird. It has a shrill but quite melodious song, and if you can recognise it you will hear it long before you can locate Jenny herself. Interestingly, they sing all through the year, except when they are moulting. A wren’s diet consists of spiders and insects, which they find whilst hopping and flitting along the ground and probing into crevices with
their long thin bill. The male wren has the unusual habit of building several nests in its territory for his female to inspect. When the female has made her decision, as to which nest she wishes to use, she lines it with feathers and lays her eggs. Although perhaps not seen that often apparently the wren is the most common breeding bird in the UK with 8.5 million pairs. It is also widespread, being found all over Britain in various habitats. In a winter with heavy snow their numbers can drop quite dramatically but recover fairly quickly due to their large broods; often eight or nine chicks.
Old English poem It was on a merry time, When Jenny Wren was young, So neatly as she danced, And so sweetly as she sung– Robin Redbreast lost his heart: He was a gallant bird; He doffed his hat to Jenny, And thus to her he said. “My dearest Jenny Wren, If you will but be mine, You shall dine on cherry pie, And drink nice currant wine.

Why join a ? fitness group Group classes can help to motivate you Group exercises classes are great if you’re just starting out and aren’t sure what to do. A group setting with a trained instructor is highly beneficial for those still finding their feet in the gym, and can give you much needed knowledge and confidence l Group exercise classes will challenge you and make you work harder as long as you choose the right class for your level l A lot of gym goers develop sloppy exercise form. But when you’re in a group fitness class there’s nowhere to hide. The instructor is usually on a raised platform in front of you. Their eyes are going to be upon you because it’s their job to ensure that you perform the movement the correct way. l If you are going to stick at an activity, you want it to be enjoyable. Group classes provide all of the elements that combine to make your workout enjoyable and mix with likeminded peers. When you are sweating alongside a person in a group fitness class you have an instant connection with them. The shared experience of getting through the challenge of the workout creates a bond with a person who, like you, cares about their body and is motivated enough to do something about it. This may lead to the development of a friendship outside of the gym setting. l With an exercise class there is no tie in contract and you won’t be charged a fortune every month. l

Business expenses for freelance or self-employed
T
he lower your taxable profit the lower your tax bill at the end of the tax year; however, any errors could attract penalties and interest charges so it’s important to get it right. The following list details some of the more common expenses which are allowable by HMRC:
1 Mobile phone costs
In addition to the usual office costs like stationery, postage, internet and line rental, which are all allowable expenses, you can claim some of your mobile phone costs as a business expense, the tricky bit is what proportion to claim as usually you will use your phone for both personal and business use. What you should in theory do is go through one or two bills each year and work out your business use vs personal use – that will be the basis of what % of your total bill to claim as a business expense. A more pragmatic approach that we suggest is that if you use your mobile phone heavily for business
If you’re self-employed or work on a freelance basis, your business will have various running costs. You can deduct some of these costs to reduce your taxable profit as long as they’re allowable expenses.
and just a bit personally then to claim perhaps 80% of the total costs for business would be fair and justifiable. However if you use it quite evenly for business and personally, then we would suggest claiming perhaps 50%. What you need to remember is that you might have to justify this percentage to HMRC in the event of an enquiry, so keep a note of your workings and lean on the side of caution when it comes to what % to claim.
2 Home office costs
With so many businesses operating from home, it’s important to ensure you have a sufficient home office cost put against your tax return. There are two ways to do this: A simplified HMRC rate of £4/ week, which the HMRC will allow you to put through without any back up, or to apportion the actual home running costs – include costs such as mortgage interest (but not capital repayments), rental charge, gas, electricity, insurance, service charges,
cleaning and council tax and then work out a fair business %. The simplest way of doing this is to firstly work out how many rooms you have in your house, then work out what % of the time you use one of the rooms for business use. Let’s say you use one of your rooms as an office half the time and the other half it’s a guest bedroom and say you have 5 rooms excluding bathrooms, hallways and kitchens. Say the total running costs of your house are £10,000p.a. then it would therefore be justifiable to charge £1,000 per year (50% x 1/5 x £10,000) to the business as rent. Another tip is that you shouldn’t use your office room entirely for business use – keep at least a small element of the room for personal use as this protects you from any potential capital gains tax issues when you come to sell.
3 Travel and vehicle costs
All business travel between your ‘Usual place of work’ (which can be your home if you operate from home)
and your business destination is allowable. Again you have two ways to do this – the simple flat rate of £0.45/ mile for cars up to 10,000 miles and then £0.25/ mile after 10,000 miles (you must keep a record of the business journeys you are claiming for) or to record the actual running costs of a car or other vehicle including fuel, road tax, insurance, repairs and servicing adjusted for the business proportion of total miles the vehicle is used for. You can choose whichever method gives you the best tax saving.
Non-allowable expenses
Money taken from your business to pay for private purchases is not an allowable expense and neither is entertaining (client or staff) even if you spend the entire time talking about work!

A good divorce? New year’s resolutions The Peterborough Marriott Leisure Club offers something for everyone and a little bit more than you would expect from a health and fitness club. The Marriott boasts a stunning pool surrounded by relaxing lounges, where you order food from our delicious poolside menu. There is also a baby pool where the little ones can play safely. If you are looking to get fit then look no further than our gymnasium using our top of the range Resistance and Cardiovascular equipment. Not only is there the pool and gym, there is a spa bath, steam room, sauna, solarium, beauty and hair salon.

The first weeks of the new year are traditionally busy for family lawyers with the influx of clients who have made the decision to end their relationship and make a fresh start. But this is only the beginning of the end and you may find that your divorce is dragging on into the next new year if you are not careful. The key to minimising the pain and stress of relationship breakdown is trying to keep a lid on emotions and concentrate on the practical job of dividing the matrimonial assets, as reasonably and objectively as possible. Compromise often means you gain in the end. Remaining calm and keeping things reasonable is also critical
if there are children in the family, whatever their age. In fact older children frequently become more partisan, allying with one parent against the other. This discord can be kept to a minimum if the couple themselves behave respectfully toward each other. Yes, you can have a 'good divorce'. Celebrity divorces such as Gwyneth Paltrow/Chris Martin and Gary Lineker/Danielle Bux are good role models, although of course it is a lot easier to keep it sweet when there is a lot of wealth about! We more humble mortals can still follow that example and choosing the collaborative option is one way of achieving a good divorce.
Take a look at the Peterborough Collaborative group, Best Divorce Options website for more information, at www.divorceoptions.co.uk

NEW WEBSITE showcases the Hamptons to the world The Hamptons has a brand new website to showcase its attractions, in the run-up to its 20th anniversary.
Enjoy the lakes in winter ... SAFELY During the winter month many of us will be out and about enjoying nature, especially around the Hamptons' scenic lakes
B
ut while relaxing, it pays to be alert to the hidden dangers of the winter wonderland – snow, ice and freezing water can be a deadly combination. Every year people drown as a result of accidentally falling into open water, or falling through ice. Snow can obscure the edges of lakes, so always take care not to get too close, and never venture out on to frozen lakes. However tempting they look, there is no way to tell if the ice will hold your weight. An analysis of 20 recent frozen water deaths found that in more than half of them, the victim was attempting to rescue another person or a dog. If you see a person or animal fall through ice, don't rush out on to the ice to help, instead follow the advice given by the
Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA), see righ.
Dogs
Dogs are usually better than us at saving themselves – in the frozen water fatalities involving a dog rescue, typically the dog managed to scramble to safety, while its would-be rescuer did not. You can avoid such a situation in the first place by keeping your dog on a lead near frozen lakes. And never throw sticks or balls on to the ice for your dog to retrieve.
Children
Call the emergency services. Tell the person to stay still to save energy. l Lie down on the bank, or have someone hold you securely, and reach out to the casualty using a pole, branch or rope. l If you can't find anything to reach out with, throw them out something that floats. l Keep them talking until help arrives. l l
There are throw lines attached to the red notice boards at the entrance to most lake areas in the Hamptons.

Launched in December, the website aims to capture what's distinctive about the Hamptons, and to be the place for residents, prospective residents and businesses to get the latest news and information. Its About the Hamptons section previews the new communities planned in Hamptons East and Hampton Heights. Its Living and Working section will help you locate shops, schools, leisure facilities, outdoor activities and even a new home. And you can get an overview of everything from eating establishments to events on the interactive Community Map – and suggest your own points of interest to add to the 'pins'. The website is regularly updated with the latest news, and there's a Fact File to direct people to when they ask you about life in the Hamptons. The Community section has links to videos featuring Hamptons' residents and community organisations, including Hampton Gazette's own founder and owner, Lorraine Clark. Secrets for a slim 2017 S cott and Nat who run the Slimming World groups in Hampton say: “Lots of people will be making resolutions to lose weight and improve their health this New Year. Successful weight loss isn’t just about losing weight, it’s about keeping it off too. Making temporary changes and going on a ‘diet’ that’s unsustainable in the long-term will only ever be a quick fix, meaning you’ll sadly be bound to regain any weight you lose – and maybe more – as soon as you go back to your normal eating habits. If you really want to live happy for the long term, the key is to make healthy, realistic changes to your lifestyle that you can keep up for the rest of your life. Here are our top ‘New Year, New You’ tips to do just that. And you’ll find even more slimming support, advice and inspiration at our Slimming World groups. N Never go hungry Most people who embark on New Year diets fail within days or weeks because they follow plans that are too restrictive and leave them feeling hungry or deprived so they’re absolutely impossible to keep up. In contrast, Slimming World’s fabulous Food Optimising programme is flexible and generous, with members able to satisfy their appetite on hundreds of healthy, everyday foods like fruit and veg, pasta, rice, potatoes, lean meat, poultry, fish, fat-free dairy, eggs and more without weighing, counting or measuring. Keep your appetite satisfied with wholesome, healthy meals the whole family can enjoy – think spag bol, roast dinners, curries, stir-fries, cottage pie, chilli, and many more…even homemade chips! Visit www.slimmingworld.co.uk for tons of recipe inspiration! E Easy changes to make Believe it or not, if you’re looking to slim for good this New Year you can still cook and enjoy all of your favourite meals, just by tweaking them slightly. Try switching to lean or extra-lean meat, trim off all visible fat and remove skin from poultry. Swap cooking oil for low

mood and sense of wellbeing) and research shows that those who make a habit of being active are more likely to maintain their weight loss in the long term.
A Add some activity
R Remove Guilt
W Write a weekly plan
Making resolutions to be more active are often at the top of our New Year lists. Luckily though, being active doesn’t have to mean joining the gym or enduring a rigorous exercise regime. It’s important to start off slow and find something you enjoy. Increasing your activity levels could be as simple as taking the stairs instead of the lift or pledging to park the car further away from work or the shops. Signing up to short races is a great commitment-booster and smartphone apps such as ‘Couch to 5k’, a training program to get you from zero to running 5K in 9 weeks, are brilliant at building your activity confidence one step at a time. Increasing your activity levels helps to boost your weight loss (and your
Spending some time at the weekend planning your week’s menu can really pay off; you’ll feel fully in control with your healthy eating and know exactly what to get at the supermarket, saving pennies at the checkout and bags of time. Thinking ahead about any potential pitfalls such as a social event will also help you to plan how to stay on track. Y Y ou choose At home, keep your fridge stocked with filling, natural foods you can snack on such as fresh fruit, vegetable crudités and lean meat. When you’re feeling peckish in between meals you’ll be able to dive right in, rather than eating that extra chunk of cheese or a packet of crisps while dinner’s cooking. At Slimming World we know that you don’t have to cut out treats completely to lose weight, and in fact having a little bit of what you fancy can do you a world of good. No food is banned at Slimming World – we recommend a wonderful mix of flexibility in your diet along with just enough structure. Choose one or two treats per day, a glass of wine or a chocolate bar for example and you’ll feel beautifully in control.
We all go off-track sometimes when it comes to making healthy lifestyle changes. When that happens it’s easy for us to give ourselves a hard time for not being able to stick with it. However, learning to be kinder to ourselves and recognising that we’re only human and all have lapses at times can make it easier to get back on track with achieving our weight loss dreams. The reason diets so often fail is because they are restrictive. By following a flexible, generous, plan that fits with normal living you’re much more likely to succeed in keeping weight off in the long term.
Here’s to a healthier, happier you this year!
E Enlist super support Changing long-term habits can be challenging, and research shows that getting regular, effective support is a vital component in losing weight and keeping it off. Slimming World members attend weekly group sessions, led by a Consultant who has lost weight with Slimming World themselves. Premier Fitness is even bigger and better At this time of year, focus generally turns to getting fitter and healthier and going to the gym is more likely to be on your agenda.
I
f you live in Hampton, you are lucky enough to have Vivacity Premier Fitness on your doorstep. If that wasn’t great enough, they have now carried out some extension work, to make their offering even bigger and better. Vivacity Premier Fitness have quite literally raised the bar when it comes to gym facilities in Peterborough. The centre includes a 25m swimming pool, sauna and steam room, plus three dance, exercise and spin studios offering more than 100 fitness classes every week. There are also four beauty treatment and physiotherapy rooms. At the end of last year, they extended the facilities and made several improvements adding to what was already a premium health and fitness centre. Ben Clawson-Chan, General Manager at Vivacity Premier Fitness said – “We’ve listened to our customers’ feedback and have made some changes that will benefit our existing members as well as new members that we invite to join. “We’ve extended the gym in two areas above the existing reception, increasing both the size and number of stations in the gym. The gym now benefits from a larger stretch area and a bigger free weights area, with more cardiovascular and resistance machines. The extension gives us the opportunity to introduce more variety, with some of the planned machines new to market and new types of kit making their debut at the gym.” There’s plenty of new kit in the gym, including an Olympic lifting
platform with power rack, an additional squat rack, benches and dumbbells, Trixter Exercise Bikes and Wattbikes. In total an extra 25 stations have been created. At Vivacity Premier Fitness they use SmartCentre technology, which allows you to track and monitor your fitness as you develop. Pre-programmed to automatically set up the machine to your specification, it also gives you instant information on vital stats such as body composition analysis, weight, body fat, water and body mass index. Changes have also been made to the reception area on the ground floor. Parents can watch swimming lessons in a special viewing area and there’s also a cosy, quiet area ideal for both working and making use of the free WiFi or just to relax. The café menu has had a makeover too, with lots of meal deal options and at the request of members, we are now stocking goprotein® bars and shakes. Outside, improvements have been made in the car park, where there are now an additional 35 spaces to accommodate more gym users during peak times. Significant improvements have also been made to security. Height barriers, fencing around the car parking areas and carefully placed boulders will ensure that only gym users and visitors can gain access to the car park.

Hampton Vale Primary Adventures in space, a fairytale ball and World War Two memories have all been in focus at Hampton Vale Primary School over the past few weeks. A series of events for parents and carers has helped them be more involved in their children's learning. A visit to the National Space Centre, Leicester, gave the Year Five children a chance to build on their current theme, learning about space science; a visit to the centre's planetarium was among the visit's highlights. The same year group also took part in a sports festival, featuring basketball and netball games, at Hampton College. In Year Six, the focus on World War Two has seen the children develop their skills in interpreting history and artefacts.
Younger children in Year One have been discovering more about fairytales as they prepare for performances of their production to the rest of the school and to parents and carers (each year group will have presented a production by the end of the school year). Inspired by the Jack and the Beanstalk story, the children will also be growing their own different plants, and, inspired by other traditional stories, they are planning their own fairytale ball. Reading is always an important part of learning, and Story Cafe events for parents and carers of Reception children inspired the adults to share reading with their children.

Little Acorns
We have had a busy January at Little Acorns. The children have enjoyed getting creative and making winter pictures. We have been using different materials and paints to create the children’s masterpieces. We have also been out in the garden exploring the ice and cold weather, we are hoping for some snow so we can build a snowman! The Rose room are spending more time taking part in Montessori activities, they are enjoying having some more structured activities in there room. We are looking forward to some parents coming into the nursery for lunch with their children in February. The children will help serve the lunch and show their mummies and daddies how independent they can be.
Hampton Cricket Club Hampton Cricket Club is an amateur club playing in the Huntington and Rutland Cricket Leagues as well as the Peterborough Midweek T20 league. We are looking for players of all abilities and volunteers who would like to help grow the cricketing community in and around Hampton. Please join us for indoor net sessions on Friday evenings at the Jack Hunt School. For more details visit hamptoncc.secure-club. com or find us on Facebook.
Hampton Tiddlers WE WANT YOU ... Although we often tell you how grateful we are to have such a great team of volunteers who give up their time to come along and help Hampton Tiddlers, we also have to admit that we are still working towards the goal of having an even larger team to make each session/event that bit more memorable and exciting. Could that person be you? There’s something hugely rewarding about becoming part of a local community group and reaping the benefits of befriending the people who attend the group and if you have children, the impact the group will have on
them, including the social skills and learning and development. If you are interested email us for further information hamptontiddlers@gmail.com January has been a busy month with Family First Aid, a couple of our volunteers took the regulars to a meet at the Café at Kiddicare which is always a success. Baby Sensory was popular and the older toddlers took advantage of the invitation from Dobbies to meet the animals (30 Jan). Our February schedule will be on our Facebook page soon and is always in the Tesco Community Room for all to see.

Fudge
food&drink
Make this as a treat for your Valentine. Pop it in a pretty box with a big bow and they will be yours forever…as long as you don’t eat it all first!
Ingredients
100g butter 550g light muscovado sugar or demerara for a lighter flavour. 200g golden syrup 350ml double cream 1 tsp vanilla extract ¼-½ tsp sea salt flakes
Method
• Line a tin about 23 x 23cm / 9inches x 9 inches with greaseproof paper. Melt the butter, sugar, syrup and cream in a medium-sized, high-sided heavy-based pan. Keep stirring until the sugar has dissolved. • Bring to a simmer (without stirring) over a medium-low heat and cook, stirring only occasionally until it reaches 116C, stirring more regularly after it reaches 100C and turning down the heat if it begins to catch. If you don’t have a cooking thermometer. • Have a bowl of iced water and a metal spoon ready next to the cooker. As the mixture begins to simmer beat it more regularly then periodically take ¼ -½ tsp of the fudge mixture and plunge
the coated spoon into the bowl of iced water. Then (still under the water) use your fingers to roll the mixture into a little ball. When it forms a soft, pliable ball it’s ready to take off the heat and continue with the recipe. • Take off the heat and beat in the vanilla and salt with a wooden spoon, then continue beating until the fudge has thickened and lost its shine. Add any ingredients such as raisins, chopped nuts, or chocolate chips at this point. Pour into the tin and leave to set. • Once it’s firmed up a little, after about an hour, slice into squares and leave to cool completely. Best kept refrigerated.

Tasty celebration
Peterborough’s popular Chinese restaurant, the Beijing Rendezvous, is currently celebrating its second anniversary as a buffet style, allyou-can-eat restaurant after 25 years as a traditional eatery
B
usiness Manager Mac, and his wife Carol, decided to make the transition after canvassing both their eat-in and take-out customers. Mac had noticed the lifestyle of customers was changing, giving them less time for lengthy meals, so he switched to a self-serve buffet service offering over 50 alternating starters, main course and dessert dishes. Now customers can serve themselves quickly with no waiting for meals to be prepared. Eat in, as much as you want, for less than £10, or take out a large box of your own choice for under a fiver. Mac, originally from Hong Kong, came to the UK 30 years ago. His Cantonese trained head chef, Peter, has over 40 years’ experience.
The Beijing Rendezvous can seat up to 100 covers, has a full drinks licence and is readily available for corporate and business customer lunches or dinners. “I carried out a marketing survey with my clientele just over two years ago and realised that customers don’t have two or three hours to spend in a restaurant waiting patiently for each course. Their work and home life has impinged on their free time. So it was then I decided that what was required was a dedicated allyou-can-eat Chinese buffet-style restaurant, eat-in or take-out, and the whole concept has proved very successful”, explained Mac. “We only use the freshest ingredients when preparing our meals. For instance, our sesame
prawn toast contains 100% pure prawns unlike some places which substitute chicken for prawns, or other cheaper ingredients. Our favourite dishes are vegetable spring rolls, satay chicken, vegetable samosas, spare ribs, sweet and sour chicken balls, grilled meat dumplings, mussels in black bean sauce, crispy seaweed and crispy prawn crackers. “I suppose our signature dishes are Szechuan prawns, beef in black bean sauce and our spare ribs in fruity sauce. Our secret way of preparing and cooking this last dish makes the ribs full of flavour and so tender the meat just falls off the bone. We only use the best quality and freshest prawns made with our own special Szechuan sauce”, he added.
Mac also celebrates the Chinese New Year with his customers. It starts on 28 January and goes through to 15 February. 2017 will be the year of the Rooster, which is the tenth in the 12-year cycle of Chinese zodiac signs and represents the epitome of fidelity and punctuality. For ancestors who had no alarm clocks, the crowing was significant, as it could awaken people to get up and start to work. All customers who eat in the restaurant on the Chinese New Year are given a lucky red envelope containing a small gift.
The Beijing Rendezvous can be found at 59 Napier Place, Orton Wistow, Peterborough PE2 6XN, near Lynchwood Business Park, and there is plenty of free parking. View the Beijing Rendezvous website at http://beijing.sbom.co.uk like us on Facebook www.facebook.com/beijingrendezvous or speak to Mac directly on 01733 234 450.

Spam alert: don’t fall for fake HMRC tax refund emails

We have received quite a number of our clients ringing us saying they have received an email from HMRC stating they are due a refund, is this correct?. May we remind clients and readers that HMRC tax refund scam emails are doing the rounds again? Even though it is a standard phishing scam, many taxpayers do fall for it. The worst part is that such emails often contain HMRC’s logo and official style reference which can make it difficult for the individual to detect the fraudulent activity. To save yourself from fraud, please keep in mind the following points: • Have we or your own accountant advised you that you are due a tax refund; • HMRC will never contact you via an email or a text message about anything confidential. They will correspond on the phone or by post; • HMRC will never ask you to disclose sensitive or personal information on email or text, such as your bank or credit/debit card details, or your pin number; • The language used in email spams is frequently poor. If you read them carefully, they are often easy to spot; • Do not visit the website contained within the email. For more details, go to the HMRC website page at https://www.gov.uk and type “tackling phishing emails” in the search box. An HMRC report states that it prevented 8 million malicious emails from reaching customers between April 2015 and March 2016. Let’s hope we all can make a difference at our level by staying alert. If you receive a suspicious message by email or text, please report it to phishing@hmrc.gsi.gov.uk

Making tax digital update
We have also received a few enquiries from client’s regarding Making Tax Digital. Over the last summer HMRC published six consultation documents on MTD that set out detailed plans on how HMRC propose to fundamentally change the method by which taxpayers, particularly the self-employed and landlords, send information to HMRC. This will in effect be the end of the tax return as we know it, we will be advising our clients accordingly and full details will be published here when they are fully known.
