What an amazing July we have had weather-wise, yes it’s been hot but what a difference it makes! People I walk past every day now say ‘Good Morning’, so if it’s the weather that does this, let the sunshine continue ... except that as I write, the hosepipe ban has just come into effect! Our local news covers everything, from the local groups, updates from the schools, churches and our What’s on Guide to everything that’s happening in the community from Bushcraft Skills to Bingo. And don’t forget the events at your local library, which are detailed for you on page 11. There’s a delicious seasonal recipe and an article about summer gadgets on page 5. Is going to the cinema still the best way to watch a film? The way we are watching films is starting to change, as the emergence of streaming, with Netflix, Amazon and now YouTube et al all affecting our viewing behaviour. A great way to use up the glut of courgettes around at this time of year

I’m one of those people who becomes irreconcilably irritated about seemingly minor things. People who go in a coffee shop and spend £1.90 on a cup of tea. The fact that the letter S key on my laptop chooses to randomly top working mid-sentence. Seeing someone buy the Daily Mail.

eeing things like this can really ruin a perfectly good day for me. Unfortunately, there seems to be more and more of these types of annoying things happening near me recently, which combined with the disgustingly clement weather we’ve been suffering through recently has been pushing me to the edge. Since I moved to Yaxley about thirteen years ago, I’ve always been shocked at the number of bad drivers in such a small village. I grew up in Essex, the birthplace of the chav and the vajazzle; you’d think village life would be a blessed relief from mismatched alloys, DIY bodykits and unprompted road-rage ... but no. I hate it when people don’t indicate. I hate it when people can’t use mini-roundabouts (except that one time the guy in the Ferrari destroyed the underside of the car on the one at the top of Windsor Road – that was really funny). I hate the fact that there are forty-seven-thousand cars parked in Yaxley but apparently only one driveway to park them on. I hate it when people decide that it should be their right of way by driving directly at you. I hate it when people think they’re being a kind and considerate motorist by stopping inexplicably and waving politely at you to go, even though there’s no room and it would have made sense for them to have just gone because its their right of way and literally everyone knows it – its like there’s a disproportionate number of bad drivers to contend with each time I venture out in the car. Driving really isn’t that hard, and being considerate isn’t that hard either. If you really find it that difficult to do both of these things at the same time, maybe it time to sit and have a little think to yourself about whether you’d be better off on a bike.

Courgette Gratin Preparation time: 20 mins Cooking time: 30 mins Serves 4 Ingredients

2 tbsp olive oil 800g/1lb 12oz courgettes, sliced into 5mm/¼in rounds A few sprigs of thyme A few basil leaves 100ml/3½fl oz crème fraîche 50ml/2fl oz milk 1 tsp plain flour 75g/2½oz Gruyère or similar cheese, grated Salt and freshly ground black pepper

Method  Preheat the oven to 200C/Fan 180C/Gas 6  Place the olive oil in a heavy large, lidded frying pan over a low heat.  When hot add the courgettes and herbs and season with salt and pepper.  Cover the pan and cook gently for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the courgettes have softened slightly but still have a little bite.  Transfer the courgette and herb mixture to an ovenproof dish.  Whisk together the crème fraîche, milk and flour in a bowl and season with salt. Pour the resulting mixture over the courgettes. Don’t worry if there is not enough to submerge the courgettes as the mixture will bubble up when cooking.  Sprinkle over the Gruyère cheese. Bake in the oven for around 25 minutes, or until brown and bubbling. Serve as a side dish, or as a light supper with crusty bread and a green salad. Note: Gruyère is a wonderfully melty Swiss cheese but if you can’t find it try Emmental, Beaufort, Jarlsberg or Comté.

Gadgets for Summer Living Yaxley WI

In June our speaker was Dorothy Woods who spoke of her journey ‘From Bus Pass to Student Pass’. In her early sixties this remarkable lady decided to enrol for a degree course at Nottingham University which took her three years whilst attending two days a week and at the same time she worked for three days. Despite there being a considerable age gap between herself and the other students she got on really well with them and they even invited her to go clubbing! Dorothy was an inspiration to us all proving that it's never to late to achieve your ambition. Our speaker for 9 August is Hannah Vandridge who will be speaking on a subject dear to most ladies - Shopping Through The Ages! All visitors are welcome. On 1 September to celebrate our 100th birthday we will be serving tea and cakes from 1 - 4 for a small charge of £2.50 at Queens Park, Daimler Avenue, Yaxley. We look forward to seeing members, ex members and lots of people who have never been to a W I but enjoy a chat over cakes and tea/coffee.

It is great to sit outside for a drink on a summer’s evening but I do mind being eaten alive by mosquitoes! This year I am installing a Bug Zapper Light Bulb. The bulb provides two different modes that can be chosen with the wall switch: Anti-mozzie or light plus anti-mozzie. The bulb’s 360-degree LED blue-violet light band emits a wavelength of 365-420nm, which attracts mosquitoes. It’s safe for human’s though, as there is no radiation, it’s nontoxic and chemical-free. It’s always good to have something to sit on when out and about over the summer. Whether you are going camping or for a walk on the beach a blanket is a useful item. Unfortunately, they can be a bit bulky. Enter the Pocket Blanket, available from good camping shops. Made of water repellent, puncture resistant, lightweight nylon, they fold into a 3 x 2-inch (7.5 x 5 cm) pouch. It fits two people lying down or four people sitting, and its weighted corners will help to keep it from blowing around. It’s irritating when one party member disappears, and you have little or no phone reception to let them know you’re waiting. Try an off-grid communication device like Gotoky. It’s like a tiny modern-day walkie-talkie which connects to your phone with Bluetooth, has a range of 4 miles and lets you contact other people who have downloaded the app, bypassing the need for mobile coverage. With two per pack you can text or even share grid locations. As a bonus communications are end-to-end encrypted!

Two more public defibrillators We are pleased to say that two more public defibrillators have been put out in Yaxley. One is at the Duck & Drake, Main Street, Yaxley PE7 3LY. The other is by the side of the house at 18 Ferndale, Yaxley PE7 3ZW and is our first residential defibrillator. Thank you to our electrician Lewiss at Turner Electrical Services for installing these defibrillators, free of charge. We had a lovely afternoon with Yaxley Infants School at their school fare. Thank you to everyone who supported our BBQ. We would also like to say thank you to captains Georgina & Rob from the Farcet Salvation Army who have supported us and raised funds for our defibrillators. They are leaving and going to a post in Cambridge, so we wish them all the best for the future. Do you know CPR and would like to have a go at using a defibrillator? STREAMING

Cinema - the best way to watch a film - or is it? As the modern world evolves, so does the way in which we watch films. As consumers, our habits have changed and the emergence of streaming businesses like Netflix, Amazon and now YouTube et al have just added an additional layer to our habits; the comfort of our own home. Richard Stephens aying that 10 years ago would make it sound like you were buying hooky DVDs from the guy who comes around every fortnight. But with so much power going to the likes of Netflix etc, is the cinema experience dying? Some would argue, yes, others would argue, no. Who is right? That’s a tough one. With the inflated prices of tickets to mirror the inflated budgets of films today (all because of the public’s need to see a ‘spectacle’ apparently) as well as the cinema businesses’ need to turn a profit and hence their extortionate prices for snacks at their concession stands (you need a loan to buy a decent amount now), people seem to be turning to staying at home and waiting for the films to show up. Or so you would think… Every time I have been to the cinema it has been packed. Granted, I have only been to see ‘blockbuster’ films, but the overpriced tickets and snacks still have not stopped people from enjoying films on a super large screen with surround sound and fellow film lovers. That is an experience you cannot match at home on your TV with a sound bar. But then, isn’t it just subjective? And therein lies the issue. You see, the cinema experience is subjective, something that

Hollywood hasn’t yet grasped. With the emergence of Netflix original films and shows; through subscription payments of as little as £8 per month, and the same with Amazon etc, cinema cannot really compete without the big blockbusters to prop up the extraordinary amount of average films that are marketed as being the ‘best film this year’, which pretty much every film is labelled as to entice consumers in. In reality, the majority only really care about the blockbusters which, in most cases, only ever satisfy a small minority because Hollywood doesn’t understand consumer trends anymore, and neither do cinema businesses. It all comes down to marketing and playing on either nostalgia, twisting of words, or the very clever editing of trailers. Or its just Ryan Reynolds on a one-man mission to give gratuitous anti-hero Deadpool the limelight he needs. Marketing is now king, with the quality of the film almost secondary from Hollywood’s perspective. Netflix et al have a different model; Cloverfield Paradox anyone? They understand their target audience, but do Hollywood? So, is the cinema really the best way to watch a film anymore? Well, I guess that really depends on the type of film fan you are. And again, that is subjective.

CAMBRIDGESHIRE FIRE AND RESCUE SERVICE

Public urged to stay fire safe in hot weather Cambridgeshire residents have been urged to stay fire safe when outdoors this summer. With temperatures hitting significant highs, fires in open areas of land can easily spread and become out of control. Events north of the country, with significant moorland fires at Saddleworth Moor and Winter Hill, have shown how these fires quickly spread and take hold of open areas of land. Group Commander Kevin Napier, head of community fire safety at Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service, said: “We want to help ensure that people enjoy the sunny weather while it’s here safely. High temperatures and dry areas of land can be perfect conditions for a fire to spread. Something as simple as not stubbing a cigarette out properly, or using a disposable barbecue on grass, can start a fire that can develop quickly.” There are seven simple steps we urge residents to take to help prevent an outdoor fire: q Ensure cigarettes are completely out w Do not throw cigarettes out of car windows onto grass verges or vegetation e Put disposable barbecues on bricks and do not place directly on grass r Do not leave glass bottles lying on the ground, the sun’s rays reflect through the glass and can start a fire t When camping, do not leave campfires unattended and make sure it is completely out before you leave it y Use barbecues on a hard, flat surface, away from grass, shrubs or fencing u Talk to your children about the dangers of starting a fire.

Pathfinder March returns for

RAF100

As part of the RAF 100 celebrations, the annual Pathfinder March took place on Saturday 23 June, continuing the RAF Wyton tradition of commemorating the Pathfinder Force (PF) that operated during WWII. Just under 170 participants braved the heat across the 46 mile route with 17 running the event individually or as part of a relay team. The walkers set off in the early hours with the runners following a few hours later. First to receive their medals were runners Simon Margot and George Margot, completing the course in a total time of 6 hours and 22 minutes. The first walker back was Colin Arnold in a time of 11 hours and 20 minutes. For the relay entrants, first running team back were the Traffic Light Harriers and first walking team back were the True Blue Squad. Participants and volunteers were supported at checkpoints by the WWII Pathfinder Veteran Flt Lt (Ret’d) Colin Bell, a Mosquito pilot on the PF from 1943-1945. He was joined by

RAF Wyton Station Commander, Wg Cdr Rachel Dixon, and family members of other PF veterans. Vicki Michelle from the famous 1980s sitcom Allo Allo joined the celebrations, supporting marchers and volunteers at RAF Wyton and across the course. We were extremely fortunate and humbled to have WWII Pathfinder Veteran Flt Lt Bell at the finish line to present medals and certificates. Colin said: "The Pathfinder March is a fitting celebration of the men of the Pathfinder Force and participating or volunteering is a great way of commemorating those that served as part of it; I look forward to being here next year for another great day". The march was also supported

by local businesses and marked by a Dakota fly past. During WWII there was a cluster of PFF airfields in our area. The PFF were target-marking squadrons in RAF Bomber Command. They located and marked targets with flares, which a main bomber force could aim at, increasing the accuracy of their bombing. The Pathfinder Force operated out of RAF Wyton, RAF Gravely, RAF Oakington, RAF Warboys and their satellite bases from 1942 to 1945. Flying Halifaxes, Lancasters, Mosquitos, Stirlings and Wellingtons, the Force had twenty squadrons and flights in the three years of its existence including the Light Night Strike Force.

New president John Taylor The Rotary year does not follow the usual calendar year as each July a new President and team take over for the next 12 months. It's a time to present a programme of objectives for 2018/19. The following concentrate on local issues. Supporting the newly formed Rotaract Club which hopes to attract new members aged 18 to 30, who enjoy themselves by organising social events and combining some of these with fund raising. Anyone within the age group would be very welcome to come along, meet new friends and give it a try. Continue to give support to Sailability on Ferry Meadows for the disabled. The local Foodbank. The Crocus Cafe to help Dementia sufferers and their carers. Together with assistance at White Cane Events and to work with Ortons Local Action Group. Youth Opportunities will again receive much support to candidates for Young Chef, Photographer, Designer or Artist. Youth exchange programmes, including Camps and Tours. In July I needed to drive into Town and found the traffic was at a standstill well before Bourges Boulavard. We crept along and most drivers were considerate to each other as I hope I was. Returning home I thought it would be easier to use the Parkway. Wrong ! Gangs of guys were grass cutting. And so a slow line of traffic crawled along. The following day I had to take my Grandson to the station and my Grandaughter to College for her enrollment. We left in plenty of time. They must have finished grass cutting thought I. Wrong again! The queue was from the roundabout off London Road. It was not even crawling. I managed to turn at the Tesco roundabout and was able to get to Woodston before coming to a virtual standstill. It took 50 minutes to get from Yaxley to the station and my Grandson missed his train and had to wait an hour until the next one. But at least there was another one! The definitions of chaos include disorganisation, havoc and disruption. Why were two of the main roads into the centre blocked at the same time causing chaos. There are 50 references to chaos in the bible. Many caused by people and bad planning, just like the above. Some refer to the sea. And in the gospels we read that Jesus calms the wind and the sea after a fierce gale caused waves to break over the small fishing boat and the disciples were panicking. Don't panic in these situations. Keeping calm is the answer to all chaos. We get there eventually. It is calm and peaceful in our Chapel on Sundays away from the chaos of the world outside. It is a time to forget about the havoc and disruption caused by disorganisation. And a time to remember those who experience only chaos in their lives. WINDOWS OF OPPORTUNITY Art in the Heart is well underway with its exciting new project, ‘Art in Shop Windows’. In partnership with Queensgate, Peterborough, and throughout 2018, you can enjoy front window displays in Westgate Arcade, exhibiting and selling unique art, crafts and jewellery created by the Art in the Heart artists and makers. Some of these artists and makers are well known from our art community, previously exhibiting in the treasured and distinctive Art in the Heart Gallery which was located in Westgate Arcade. Others have more recently joined this celebrated and growing group of creatives from across the UK. Bowls With the season well underway we can report on some success, particularly for our ladies. Joan Robinson has won through to 3 county finals (the 2-wood, the 4-wood and the pairs) Joan is playing with Marlene Osborne in the pairs – good luck ladies. No such joy for the men this year, none of our Yaxley men have made it through to final’s days; this year being played at Whittlesey Manor on 15 July. However there is better news in the county team competitions. We have teams through to the semi-final stage in 3 competitions, The Adams cup, the Dan Duffy trophy and the Mick Lewin shield – keep it going teams lets try and bring some silver back to Yaxley! Also congratulations to the pairs Robert Heath / Barbara Blackwell and Norman Hill / Michael Ratcliffe who have made it through to the Goodwin Cup, which is to be played in September. The hot spell of weather in June has certainly made the greens speed up, and whilst that favours some bowlers others who like greens that require a little more push are struggling. Stuart Allen Memorial Match Stuart had been a member of the Peterborough Predators Ice-hockey team for about a year when, in the early hours of the 20 November 2005, he died in a car crash on the A1M on his way home from a match between the Predators and Milton Keynes Rumble. Each year since then the two teams have played this match in his memory and raise money for charity through it. Last year they raised £870 for the Fire Fighters charity. The above photo is Watch Commander John Cox and members of his crew accepting a cheque from the Peterborough Predators. This years charity is the Cambridgeshire, Peterborough and South Lincolnshire ‘Mind and mental health charity’ based in Peterborough. The match is on the 11th August, Face Off is at 6.30 pm at the Bretton Ice rink. Free entry and there will be a raffle table, chuck a puck and other things to raise money for the charity.

Are you paying the correct accountancy fees, or are they excessive? Do you have to comply with the obligations of Self Assessment, whether a sole trader, have property you rent out or a limited company? Do you employ an accountancy firm or just one individual and are you paying the correct fees for the correct service they are offering you? We have been persuaded to write this article as it has long been known in the profession that if you instruct a large firm of accountants you will be charged higher fees that a small firm would charge. We recently were instructed by a building subcontractor whose current large firm of accountants charged him over £1,100, provided him with a full set of accounts that included a balance sheet that meant nothing to him and he spoke or dealt with a different person, not necessarily qualified, each time our fees were £360 including VAT! Obviously these fees that are being charged is quite common with accountants, but as families compare their weekly shopping bills to say high street supermarkets, so why not for the needs of an accountant? I was speaking to a car sales business recently... he said the secret isn’t what you sell it for, it’s what you buy it for.... But it is always not about the size of fees, it’s the service you receive as well, like personal and friendly attention, you speak to the same person each time and receive the correct advice at all times from qualified accountants. It’s not always the size of accountancy firms and very often a misconception that you receive a better service from larger firms that small ones, we are all qualified accountants and follow the same ethics and are governed by an institute or association rules and have to adhere to practising certificates. Also to maintain a practising certificate, we have to keep up to date with affairs by attending regular courses and receiving Continued Professional Development (CPD) points. So in short, are you paying excessive accountancy fees, why not consider speaking to others or give us a quick call as you have nothing to lose? Yaxley ASB survey results

You may recall that I asked some of you to complete a survey for me on the ASB in Yaxley? Well I have the results foryou as follows ... 49% of you said you were affected by ASB where you live; 10% were affected where you work; 69% said you felt safe walking in the village alone; 67% said you felt confident talking to the Police about ASB; 16% said you had noticed an increase in Police presence/action within the village and several commented on ASB causing them anxiety, stress, interrupted sleep and fear. The types of ASB commented on were drug usage; large groups of youths; litter and speeding. I tried to address the speeding straight away and asked Speed watch to do some evening sessions which they did do and will continue to do through the summer months. The biggest ‘wish’ the participants wanted was more ‘real’ Police on the streets, not just PCSOs who it was said ‘have no powers’.

Although 67% said they felt confident reporting ASB, we have not had that many ring through to report incidents to us, we cannot act without knowing what the issue is or where it is. The Police are aware of certain issues within Yaxley and we are doing our best to address these. All reports are taken seriously by ourselves, the Parish Council, along with assistance from Huntingdon District Council. PCSOs do not have the same powers as ‘real’ Police constables, that is true. What we do have is knowledge - of our areas, the elements within our areas and the contacts. All information is gathered and passed onto our Intel where an accurate picture can be formed of the problems at hand and a plan formulated with the assistance of the above Councils to address said issues. Another issue that has been raised by the survey is the amount of people parking on pavements thinking they are being helpful to other drivers, or assuming they have a right to block the pavement because they own the land. Please be considerate of pedestrians and the disabled – if you can’t get a double buggy through the gap, then you can’t get a wheel chair through it either.

Year 2 in “What a Knight!” Over the last few weeks our Year 2 children have been preparing for their play, “What a Knight”. Children have been learning songs, remembering their words and putting the final touches to what will be their final production.

he play links closely to the topic of Castles the children enjoyed earlier in the year. Our Year 2 children got the opportunity to visit Warwick Castle which they enjoyed and have even emulated a sword fight scene that would have happened at Warwick castle many years ago! As a final far well to all of our children in year 2, the Friends have funded a trip to the cinema to watch Peter Rabbit, the children will return to school for a picnic and a visit from the ice-cream van! In next months issue we will be celebrating the current year 2 children by asking them what they have enjoyed the most at Yaxley Infant School. This month also saw the first “Family fun night” organised by the Friends of Yaxley Infant School. On Friday the 22 June children paid to use 3 bouncy castles, listen to stories read by the teachers and enjoy some BBQ food. The weather was kind to us and all the children had a great time. Special thanks must go to Gemma’s Hearts (who fund raise for defibrillators in the Village) who cooked the food supplied by Barsby Cooked Meats. Another huge thank you must go to Premier Kitchens who donated the cost of the bouncy castles. Overall the event was a success, raising over £1000 pounds. The Friends (PTA) this year have had a fantastic year! All their efforts to fund raise have gone towards, the Panto at Christmas, Christmas presents, Living eggs, Sheds in Year 1, the Outdoor Classroom and Library resources. Thank you to the Friends for all your hard work and the parents for supporting their efforts.

e have been very busy over the last few weeks here at Farcet and continue to work hard to ensure our pupils have a range of exciting experiences to enhance their learning. We welcomed lots of dads into school to celebrate Father’s Day and everyone enjoyed a special lunch and quality time spent together. Our school choir took part in the annual A1 Music Festival at The Cresset and made everyone extremely proud. The singing was beautiful and we are very grateful to Mrs Dawn Bristow for organising the event and leading our school choir. Sporting events have continued to be a focus this month and we had a very successful sports day, if not a little warm! Our talented representative took part in the A1 Sports event at Stanground Academy and we continue to be very proud of the sportsmanship our children show. Friends of Farcet School continue to support us with their fundraising events and we all enjoyed the Summer Fayre this month. We would like to say a special thank you to Mrs Jackie Buchan in making sure the fayre was a success and the representatives of Kingsgate Church who again, came along to support the school. We’re very grateful. Our Year 5 and 6 pupils were lucky enough to attend the Food and Farming day at the East of England Showground. Holme Pre-School Following the interest of flags based on the children talking about the world cup the setting have been choosing different countries each week to learn about. The children have learned new facts and made flags of different countries. Food tasting and other fun activities arranged too! The children have had celebrations and gatherings in celebration of the famous football World Cup. The children have had father’s day event where special people came to celebrate and join in sport fun with Scott from Key Sports. This was loved so much we now have Key Sports visit the setting every week for fun sporty activities. Outside play in the sand pit has been a favourite, adding the water in a tuff tray to explore sand further.Because of the heat the children have been exploring taste and making ice lollies. The children have been visiting their new schools and getting ready for their move on to pastures new in September. Graduation and end of term party to have some fun.

Keeping rabbits cool throughout the Summer sun Heat can kill rabbits fairly quickly – if you think your dog can die in a car, a rabbit can die in a hutch just as easily. Bu Suzhy Winfield RVN So here are some pointers to try to help keep them cool. It is important to remember that just like us each rabbit is different and will tolerate heat differently, making it vital you observe your pet daily. How do I keep my rabbit cool? • Keep your bunny out of the sun. If they are confined to a cage or small room for part of the day, be sure that there is plenty of shade for them to rest • If you place a freezer tile in the hutch when it starts to get warm through the day, the rabbit will lie on this to keep cool (but don’t place it in the sun) • Place a fan that will breeze past the rabbit without blowing directly on them • You can also drape a damp towel over their cage so the fan will blow through the towel and create a cool breeze. Just remember not to leave the cord where your rabbit can get to it! • Place a few ice cubes in their water bottle so the water is kept cool • Mist rabbit’s ears. Rabbits lose heat through their ears. • Brush out excessive fur. If you have a long-haired rabbit, consider cropping your bunny’s coat short for the summer months. • Fill litre bottles with water and freeze them. Once frozen, put the frozen water bottle in your rabbit hutch so he can lean against it to keep cool. Be especially watchful of rabbits over five years old, ones who are overweight or incapacitated. They tend to be more sedentary and may not get up to drink water if they are too hot. This can quickly lead to dehydration, which can lead to death or other health problems. If it’s unbearably hot and your house is cooler than outside, bring your rabbits indoors if possible and let them run around outside once the hottest part of the day has passed, What do I do if you think your rabbit has heat stroke? Rabbits don’t actually pant to keep cool, so if you see your rabbit with his mouth open and breathing quickly they may have heat stroke. Do not submerge them in water, as this could place the rabbit in shock. Dampen their ears and body with cool water, then get them to the Vet straight away.

August is the time when our homes often find a steady incursion of bugs the kitchen tend to be particularly vulnerable. This is generally facilitated by warm weather leading to more open windows and doors but also triggered by the relative abundance of attractive food sources in the home. Lines of worker ants can often be found convoying in and out of the kitchen invariably in search of sweet tasting foods to take to their nests. At this point many people are tempted to reach for ant poisons and similar but this is never the best recourse since these poisons never just affect target populations but also impact upon the wider populace of invertebrates and in turn those that feed on them. This can lead to fatal doses of toxin building up in birds, hedgehogs and similar small vertebrates which in turn can affect further up the food chain into domestic pets. The best results for all are achieved by a more progressive

interaction put a supply of food for the ants outside, a source of sugar will provide a more attractive and accessible food source leading to the dwindling of kitchen visitors especially if strategically placed along the incoming route to your kitchen. Having place the alternative food it is also advisable to thoroughly scrub down the inside path of the ants removing and sense of scent trail. Remember defection is better than destruction whenever possible.

t's been a busy year since qualifying as a Foot Health Practitioner/Member of the the British Association of Foot Health Professionals. I've also referred some patient's who were unaware of a suspected ulcer under their foot and a weak foot pulse. Highlights of this year have been training as a Lacuna Fungal Nail Practitioner.
