PREFACE
Health is the most important gift of all, because only if we are healthy, we are able to achieve our accomplishments.
As a doctor, I do know that medical prevention, through proper life style, or medical examinations, provide longevity. However, during my medical carrier I realised that, there are unknown pathogenesis of certain diseases. Quality of living in third age ensures a decent living when the individual can take care of himself, especially if he is independent on that. If we were able to realise our bad living habits would cost us in the far future, I am positive we would have stopped them. Everybody seems to regret that during suffering, when is seriously ill.
Health is an expensive gift nowadays in the modern world. In case you can’t afford getting hospitalized, your chances are poor to survive. It is better so, me patients to pass out shortly, rather than being a torture for themselves and their relatives as well. During my athletic carrier, I realized that being out of injuries, or any other kind of medical condition, I was able to achieve my expectations.
I wish all doctors of the world were useless. However, the modern human spends tremendous time of energy and time in order to make money and afterwards spends his fortune in order to improve his bad shape. Hippocrates, the father of modern medicine said, whatever is not cured by medication, is treated by scalpel; while Apostle Paul mentioned the importance of consulting a physician. I am deeply so, rry to hear that my colleagues are getting profit in financial terms from the pain of their patients.
As a doctor I am against euthanasia. I do strongly believe that life is the most valuable gift on this earth and we have to live it till the end. Besides as a Christian I am against of it, even when the patient asks of it with despair. It is well known the case of ''doctor death'', Dr. Kevorkian in the United States. He terminated the life of more than hundred patients who asked for and fulfilled the terms for it. Eventually, he was convicted and spent over five years in jail for his ''legal'' crimes. Health in ancient Sparta and in the third Reich of Germany, were valuable gifts. As known, weak boys were thrown away as so, on as they were born, while sick children were assassinated in gas chambers.
I wish they were no diseases in this world; but through fighting those diseases, modern medicine becomes stronger and more effective in order to provide longevity and class to our living. MORE FOR THE BOOK…
