Step into the enchanting world of Hong Kong’s cinematic golden era of dramas and films with “Classic Memories: Golden Age of Hong Kong Movie Hits”. Ding Yi Music Company presents iconic theme songs from beloved Hong Kong dramas, reimagined through a fusion of instrumental mastery and choral brilliance.
Fred Chan Hong Wei, Chua Yew Kok and Ng Hsien Han, Ding Yi musicians on erhu, pipa, and dizi respectively will breathe new life into Leslie Cheung’s iconic hits with a heartfelt medley, capturing the charisma and emotion of one of Hong Kong’s most beloved stars.
Vocalist Wysom Wong will take to the stage for an exhilarating medley of timeless themes from dramas such as ‘The Bund’ and ‘The Romantic Swordsman’ while SPH Media Chinese Choir will present beautiful arrangements of classic songs such as ‘Yesterday’s Glitter’ and ‘Forgotten in the Mists’, taking listeners back to the elegance and intrigue of Hong Kong’s most memorable storylines.

WONG DE LI DEDRIC, CONDUCTOR
黄德励，指挥
Wong De Li, Dedric is the Resident Conductor of the Ding Yi Music Company, Music Director of the Asian Cultural Symphony Orchestra and Nanyang Collective. In 2014, he received the National Arts Council Arts Scholarship Recipient. In 2016, he was featured by the Straits Times Scholars’ Choice and in 2019, was a Panellist of the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth Singapore Youth Action Plan.
He graduated with a Masters in Orchestral Conducting at the China Conservatory of Music, under the tutelage of Professor Yang You Qing, with the guidance of Maestro Tsung Yeh. He had earlier graduated from the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA) in 2007 with a Diploma in Music, majoring in Suona Performance. After his graduation, he received guidance in conducting from Singapore’s renowned Chinese music educator, Singapore Cultural Medallion Dr. Tay Teow Kiat.
In 2016-2017, Wong served as the conducting fellowship with the Singapore Chinese Orchestra. In 2016, he guest conducted and staged his conducting recital with the China Conservatory of Music Middle School Youth Chinese Orchestra. In 2018 he was invited to be the adjudicator of the Singapore National Chinese Music Competition and in 2019, guest conducted the China Sze Chuan Tian Zi Ensemble and the Suzhou Symphony Orchestra String Ensemble.
In more recent years, he has been actively performing and representing Singapore in many international arts festivals, in countries such as China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia and Cambodia.
With his keen interest in traditional Chinese music, he has received the Singapore Hokkien Huay Kuan Arts and Cultural Bursary twice, in the years 2004 and 2006. He currently serves as an executive member of the Singapore Chinese Music Federation, Vice President of the Suona and Guan Society of Singapore and the Ensemble Director of the School of the Arts Chinese Chamber Ensemble.
黄德励自求学时期就对指挥抱有很大的兴趣，特别 是在郑朝吉博士的影响与教导下，指挥成为了他的 梦想。
2014
年，黄德励成功考入中国音乐学院指挥 系，师从杨又青教授，他也在多位著名指挥大师如 叶聪的悉心指导下学习指挥艺术。他希望以自己学 到的知识，提升鼎艺团的艺术水平。
2013 年，黄德励被选上台北市立国乐团举办的国乐 研习营 - 指挥大师班，由著名指挥家张国勇教授以 及瞿春泉老师担任指导。续 2015 年被选上新加坡 华乐团指挥工作坊，在指挥家叶聪的悉心指导下， 指挥新加坡华乐团。
黄德励在 2004 年与 2006 年获得福建会馆艺术奖学 金，2014 年荣获新加坡国家艺术理事会艺术奖学金 攻读指挥硕士学位。他也多次代表新加坡出访多个 国家与地区演出，如中国、香港、台湾、英国、菲律 宾、马来西亚、印度尼西亚和柬埔寨。
黄德励于 2016 年与中国音乐学院附中少年民族 乐团举办黄德励指挥硕士音乐会暨顾冠仁先生 新江南丝竹作品音乐会，与顾冠仁先生联合执棒。
同年也担任亚洲文化交响乐团指挥，也被新加坡海 峡时报报导他为新加坡杰出国家艺术理事会奖学 金得主之一，并为其做专访报道。
WOO MUN NGAN, CHORUS MISTRESS
胡文雁，合唱团指挥
Woo Mun Ngan is currently Lianhe Zaobao’s Associate Editor cum Fukan Editor. She started piano lessons and choral singing at a very young age and has participated in many international choral exchanges including the World Symposium on Choral Music in Kyoto, Japan and summer camp in the Westminster Choir College of Rider University.
She also attended the choral conducting workshop organised by the Cultural Center of the Philippines, Taiwan International Choral Festival Master class, the Beijing International Choral Festival Master class, as well as the Kodaly Seminar Asia organised by the Young Musician Society in collaboration with the Kodaly Institute of the Liszt Academy of Music in Kecskemet, Hungary. She joined the SPH Chinese Choir in 1996 and was appointed its conductor in 2008. Before taking up the baton of SPH Chinese Choir, Woo was conducting the SOKA Chorus.
《联合早报》副总编辑兼副刊主任，自小学习钢琴 与合唱，参加过在日本京都举行的世界合唱论坛、 美国莱德大学西敏寺合唱学院夏令营、菲律宾文化 中心主办的合唱指挥工作坊、台湾国际合唱音乐节 大师班、北京国际合唱节大师班，以及新加坡青年 音乐家学会与匈牙利科达伊音乐学院联办的科达 伊合唱研修课。1996 年加入华文报合唱团，2008 年 受委为合唱团指挥。此前，她是创价合唱团指挥。
FRED CHAN HONG WEI, ERHU
陈宏伟，二胡
Fred Chan is a dedicated huqin musician and has been a musician of Ding Yi Music Company since 2014. He received both his Bachelor and Master of Fine Arts (erhu) from the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing, where he studied under the guidance of renowned erhu performer and educator, Professor Zhao Hanyang, and pursued the banhu under musician and Associate Professor Hu Yu. He received a full scholarship from the Chinese government for his studies as well as the Beijing Foreign Student Scholarship for outstanding students.
Chan first picked up the erhu at the age of 13 from his seniors after joining the Chung Ling Chinese Orchestra in Penang, Malaysia, and was guided by teachers Lin Shunfa and Lin Shunli.
From 2009, he was meticulously guided by professors Yan Jiemin, Wang Ying, Zhou Lingyan and other tutors at the Central Conservatory of Music. That year, he won the third prize in the open category of Malaysia’s Yue Lang National Chinese Instruments Solo Competition. He took top honours at the same competition in 2013 and won first prize in the Hua Yue Zhi Yun International Erhu Competition in the professional overseas category that year. While at the Conservatory, he staged well-received erhu solo recitals in 2015 and 2017, including his master’s graduation concert titled From Nanyang to Beijing, and performed the gaohu across China with the China Youth Chinese Orchestra.
In January 2016, he co-founded the WAU! Ensemble, Malaysia’s first professional Chinese chamber music ensemble, and debuted three concerts in Kuala Lumpur.

13 岁加入马来西亚槟城锺灵国中华乐团后开始向 学长学习二胡，启蒙于林顺发和林顺丽。
2008 年毕 业于槟城锺灵国中先修班生物系。2009 年赴北京 中央音乐学院进修。同年，参加第二届马来西亚《乐 浪》全国华乐独奏大 赛荣获拉弦类公开组第三名。
2010年考上中央音乐学院民乐系二胡演奏专业；同 年考上中国青年民族乐团担任高胡演奏，并随团到 各地参与多场音乐会。2013 年参加第三届《华乐之 韵》国际二胡大赛，获得海外专业青年组第一名。后 参加第三届马来西亚《乐浪》全国华乐独奏大赛，荣 获拉弦公开组第一名。2014 年考上中央音乐学院研 究生部，并获得全额中国政府国别奖学金，继续攻 读二胡研究生学位。
2014 年在北京中央音乐学院举办个人二胡独奏音 乐会。2016 年 1 月与友人同创办马来西亚首个专业 华乐室内乐团WAU! Ensemble，并于吉隆坡推出三 场首发音乐会。2017 年在中国北京举办《从南洋到 北京》二胡硕士毕业音乐会。2021 年于新加坡滨海 艺术中心的华乐室内乐系列中举办胡琴演奏会。
自 2014 年加入新加坡鼎艺团后，随团在加拿大、中 国、新加坡和马来西亚等地演出多场华乐室内乐音 乐会与国际音乐节，首演了多部华乐室内乐作品。
CHUA YEW KOK, PIPA 蔡友国，琵琶
Chua Yew Kok is a pipa musician in Ding Yi Music Company, which he co-founded in 2007.
An expressive, highly versatile performer, Chua has forged an impressive career as an award-winning pipa instrumentalist and an educator. He picked up the pipa at the age of 14 and went on to give standout solo performances in Singapore and internationally, with notable ensembles and orchestras such as the Singapore Chinese Orchestra.
Among various international awards, Chua won first prize at the Singapore 1998 National Chinese Music Competition in the pipa open category. He was also accorded the National Arts Council Young Artist Award in 2013, Singapore’s highest award for arts practitioners aged 35 and below.
He earned a Bachelor of Music (Honours) from the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts in 2006, and a master’s degree in arts from the China Conservatory of Music in Beijing. Committed to preserving Singapore’s traditional Chinese music and its legacy for future generations, Chua teaches pipa at various schools as a sectional instructor and serves on the secretariat of Singapore Pipa Society.
蔡友国是鼎艺团的琵琶乐演奏家，也是公司于2007 年成立的创始人之一。
最让他印象深刻的是，见证了乐团才刚成立不久 便获得了2008年全国华乐比赛冠军的骄人成绩。
鼎艺团紧接着于 2009 年赢得了在威尔斯举行的兰 戈伦国际艺术音乐节最高荣誉奖，也在 2011 年赢得 了上海之春国际音乐节银牌奖。
多才多艺加上精湛的演奏技巧奠定了他成为得奖 琵琶演奏家和教育师的地位。蔡友国在 14 岁开始接 触琵琶，从此就经常在海内外与知名的乐团如新加 坡华乐团表演琵琶独奏。
在 1998 年全国华乐比赛中，蔡友国在琵琶公开组比 赛获得了冠军。他也在 2013 年获颁新加坡国家艺术 理事会青年艺术家奖，这是一项颁发给 35 岁以下艺 术工作者的最高荣誉。
蔡友国在 2006 年毕业于南洋艺术学院并获得音乐 系荣誉学位之后，也荣获北京中国音乐学院的硕士 学位。
为了保留新加坡传统华乐的传承，他在学校教导年 轻学子学习琵琶弹奏，让年轻一代有机会接触传统 华乐，而达到代代相传的目的。他目前也于新加坡 琵琶协会秘书处任职。
NG HSIEN HAN, DIZI
黄显行，笛子
Dr Ng Hsien Han joined Ding Yi Music Company in 2012 as a dizi musician, and is also the ensemble manager of Dicapella, the only dizi ensemble in Singapore.
He first picked up the dizi under Singapore Chinese Orchestra (SCO) musician Lee Heng Quey, and later came under the tutelage of renowned dizi performer and educator Professor Zhan Yong Ming. As a visiting scholar at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA) in 2020-2021, Ng was also guided by SCO dizi principal Yi Zhi Yang. In 2023, he received a doctorate in Philosophy (Dizi Acoustics) from the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD).
Ng has performed as a soloist with many reputable orchestras, and is known for his expressive, melodic flair. He staged a dizi concerto with the SCO in 2010, and in 2013 collaborated with the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts Symphonic Wind Ensemble to perform the piece Madam White Snake, conducted by renowned Taiwanese conductor Lin Chun Chi.
He clinched the second prize in the dizi open category at the National Chinese Music Competition organised by the National Arts Council in 2014. In 2017, Ng was awarded the prestigious SUTD President Graduate Scholarship to carry out research in the field of dizi. He also devotes over 20 hours a week to teaching dizi in schools and in private lessons to inspire and hone the next generation of dizi musicians.
黄显行博士于 2012 年加入鼎艺团担任笛子演奏家， 他也是新加坡唯一的笛子乐团笛卡贝拉竹笛团的 乐团经理。
他十三岁便开始学习笛子，启蒙老师为新加坡华乐 团现任唢呐演奏家李新桂。
在 2004 年，他跟随中国知名笛子演奏家、教育家詹 永明教授习笛。在 2020 至 2021 年间，黄显行博士以 访问学者的身份到南洋艺术学院进修，与新加坡华 乐团笛子首席尹志阳先生学习 2023 年，他考获新加 坡科技大学颁发的博士（笛子声学）学位。
黄显行博士多次在国内外与知名乐团合作并担任 笛子独奏，表现杰出。其中，包括2010年与新加坡华 乐团合作及 2013 年应新加坡南洋艺术学院管弦乐 的邀请，为新改编的华乐曲《白蛇传》担任独奏，由 台湾指挥家林俊吉指挥。
2014 年，黄显行博士在全国华乐比赛中荣获亚军。 他在2017年获得新加坡最高荣誉的学术奖学金—— 总统研究 生奖学金，进一步拓展自己在笛子领域 的学识。
WYSOM WONG, VOCALIST
黄伟深，演唱
Wysom Wong first showcased his talent at the Singapore Rock Records Music Festival in 1997, where he won a singing competition, officially launching his musical journey. Shortly after, he signed with Rock Records as a full-time singer.
In 1998, at the age of 18, Wong recorded his first original song, “After the Rain”, in Malaysia. The song became one of the lead tracks on Rock Records’ “Top Hits 5” compilation and was widely distributed across Singapore and Malaysia.
At 23, he began exploring rock music, learning various instruments, and forming the underground rock band TIET. The band was active at venues such as Singapore’s Esplanade - Theatres on the Bay, where he showcased his distinctive musical style.
In 2011, Wong performed at the “Reunion of New Rock Concert”, sharing the stage with international artists like Terry Lin. That same year, he held his first solo concert at the Esplanade - Theatres on the Bay, marking another high point in his career.
In 2013, his second solo concert paid tribute to the late singer Leslie Cheung and featured a collaboration with the Cheng San Chinese Orchestra, winning over audiences. His performances included nostalgic hits and Cantonese songs, highlighting his versatile musical appeal.
In recent years, Wong has participated in major performances at venues like the Singapore Indoor Stadium, sharing the stage with veteran singer Cheng Kam Cheong and delivering emotionally charged concerts such as “Memories of Hong Kong Dramas” and “Music In Law Live in Concert”.
With his unique musical style and relentless dedication, Wysom Wong has become a key figure in Singapore’s music scene, continuing to shine brightly in the industry.
黄伟深，1997 年在新加坡滚石音乐节上首次展露才 华，并获得歌唱比赛冠军，正式开启了他的音乐之 旅。随即，他与滚石唱片签约，成为全职歌手。
1998 年，18 岁的黄伟深在马来西亚录制了他的首支 原创歌曲《雨过天晴》，这首歌成为滚石 1998 年精选 辑《TOP HITS 5》的主打歌之一，广泛发行于新马 地区。
在23岁时，他开始探索摇滚音乐，学习多种乐器， 并组建了地下摇滚乐队TIET，活跃于新加坡的滨海 艺术中心等地，展现出独特的音乐风格。
2011 年，他参与了新摇重逢演唱会，与林志炫等海 外歌手同台演出。同年，他在滨海艺术中心首次举 办个人演唱会，标志着演艺生涯的又一个高峰。
2013 年，黄伟深的第二场个人演唱会追忆了已故歌 手张国荣，并与静山华乐团合作，深受观众喜爱。他 的演出涵盖怀旧金曲、粤语歌曲等，展现多样化的 音乐魅力。
近年来，他在新加坡室内体育馆等地参与多场重要 演出，包括与前辈郑锦昌同台演出，以及举办情感 丰沛的个人演唱会，如《岁月如歌忆港剧》和《乐父 大人 Live In Concert》。
凭借独特的音乐风格和不懈的努力，黄伟深已成为 新加坡音乐界的重要一员，持续在乐坛发光发热。
SPH MEDIA CHINESE CHOIR
新报业媒体华文报合唱团
The SPH Media Chinese Choir was established in 1987, comprising journalists and readers from its affiliated newspapers.
Since its inception, the choir has been dedicated to enriching its performance forms. In 2010, it hosted a concert titled “Zhimo’s Poetry, Our Songs”, which combined poetry and music, presenting Xu Zhimo’s poems through choral singing and recitation. In 2012, to celebrate its 25th anniversary, it hosted a special concert featuring Xinyao, “Our Songs Are Here”, breathing new life into Xinyao. In 2014, the choir’s annual concert, “When We Are Together”, offered a unique listening experience by contrasting the innocence of children voices with the worldliness of adults.
The choir has also been invited to perform at numerous events, including the City Chinese Orchestra’s “A Love for the Red Chamber” concert, “Our Xinyao 2015” concert, the Esplanade’s MidAutumn Festival, the Lo Ta-yu concert “The Story of Time”, and the Singapore Chinese Orchestra’s “Singapore’s Story” concert.
The choir has had several conductors, including Cecilia Chu, Nelson Kwei, Dr. Zechariah Goh, and Dr. Wong Su Sun. The current conductor is Woo Mun Ngan, Lianhe Zaobao Deputy Editor cum Fukan Editor.
新报业媒体华文报合唱团成立于 1987 年，由属下新 闻从业员和读者团员组成。
成立以来，合唱团致力于丰富合唱的表演形 式，2010 年主办结合诗乐的音乐会《志摩的诗· 我们的歌》，把徐志摩的诗通过合唱与朗诵呈献给 观众。2012 年，为庆祝成立 25 周年，主办新谣合唱 专场《我们的歌在这里》，以崭新的演唱方式，赋予 新谣新生命。2014 年，合唱团常年音乐会《当我们 同在一起》，通过孩童 vs 成人，纯真 vs 世俗的对照 呼应，带给观众有别于以往的赏乐体验。
合唱团也多次受邀在不同场合演唱，包括狮城华乐 团《情系红楼》音乐会、《我们的新谣 2015 》演唱会、 滨海艺术中心《月满中秋》、罗大佑演唱会《光阴的 故事》、新加坡华乐团《新加坡的故事》音乐会等。
合唱团历任指挥包括朱承安、桂乃舜、吴多才博士、 王素珊博士，现任指挥为《联合早报》副总编辑兼副 刊主任胡文雁。
