I cannot even begin to express my gratitude for how so many of you have stepped forward to support not only the Bronson family, but each other during this saddest of times in the life of Good Samaritan. Please read Pastor Scott's article it says so much of what I would want to say to you.

Know that we as a church are being surrounded in prayer by people and churches throughout the Las Vegas Valley and by churches in places as far away as Phoenix, Wisconsin, even Maryland. A Word From The Pastor By Pastor Scott Hove What words would you use to describe the Good Samaritan Church family? What comes to your mind almost without thinking? For me, the words I keep coming back to are: Giving, Sharing, Loving and Caring.
there for the young people who lost a dear friend.
this earth is suppose to do. And you have done them.
Some volunteered and assisted at the vigil for Clayton. Cleaning up, making root beer floats, whatever was needed.
As one of your pastors, I simply say “thank you.” Thank you for being so giving, sharing, loving and caring.
You came to worship.
You have done it when it needed to be done. Let’s keep on being the Church whatever the future brings and therefore living out our mission in this place we call Good Samaritan Lutheran Church.
At the tragic death of Clayton Bronson, so many of you stepped up to the plate and did the things that needed to be done. You did this by giving, sharing, loving and caring.
You attended the Memorial Service. Many of you helped with it, too; in so many different ways.
Those of you who knew Clayton and/or other family members reached out to the family through phone calls, stopping by their home, giving them a hug. You did what you could at a terrible time in their lives.
Through this tragedy, we have cried together. We have hung on to God’s promises together. And we will move on.
You sent flowers.
Some prepared food.
But, we need to be there for the family, together, in the time ahead, too. Because, frankly, it will be more difficult for them to move on than for most others.
Adult volunteers in the Youth Ministry helped counsel and be

Saying Good Bye Thank you to all who supported, grieved, helped, hugged, cried, and loved during the last few weeks as we said good bye to Clayton. Below are some prayers written by our youth for Clayton, Turner, and the Bronson Family. These thoughts and prayers reflect many of the thoughts and prayers of those who knew Clay and his family. >> Clay: You were a natural born leader and you were put in my life. I will strive to live like you because your life meant so much to so many people. Please forgive your brother. We still love him. I will miss you greatly. Have fun being an Angel. >> We will always remember you! Goodbye Clayton, I love you. >> Lord, please be with Clay's family. It must hurt so much. Help us to support them and love them. Please be with us, because we hurt to. Take care of Clayton until that time when we will see him again in heaven.
bear alone. Help us support each other and mourn together. >> Dear Lord, thank you so much for Clayton. Thank you for his presence, thank you for his wisdom, thank you for his inspiration towards others. I pray for strength in all of us as we go through this hard time in our lives. Thank you for giving your only son to die for us so we can be free. Thank you. >> Turner: what you did was wrong, but we forgive you. Look to God, he will always forgive you and love you. We love you, just look to God.
>> God, keep watch over everyone who cares about Clay. Heal our hurts, because it hurts to much to
In honor of Clay’s love to dance during worship service, many of the youth began dancing in the back corner of the sanctuary and in the aisles during the 9:35am worship songs.

THE GOODNEWS! Building Update My friends, our future just keeps looking brighter and brighter. The school is almost done and the entry area expansion is moving right along. All that remains is for outside concrete to be poured around the school expansion, a boulevard to be created from the parking lot to the new school building, landscaping planted, and our entry area expansion to be completed. We are still on schedule for a June completion date with our certificate of occupancy to come shortly thereafter. This school expansion will allow our Christian academy to continue to grow, reaching more

children and families with the good news of Jesus, while at the same time providing a superior education. The entry area expansion will allow for more sheltered gathering space before and after worship services, create an additional meeting space during the week, and allow our coffee shop to grow and expand it's service. We are so blessed as a congregation to be able to continue to grow and expand during this time. It would not be possible without God's power and blessings on this congregation nor without the support and prayers of so many of you.
