We are currently delivering our 2021 survey to thousands of households across Brislington West. Your views really matter to us. We stood to be your local councillors because we want to fight for the issues that matter most to you. Arnos Court Park improvements:

On Thursday, 16 December, we will be planting our new A4 Bath Road perimeter hedge with the help of local schoolchildren. It will be a native species hedgerow of 200 saplings funded by One Tree Per Child. Over time it will provide both a visual barrier between the busy A4 Bath Road and the park and a pollution screen to help clear up our air. We will also be holding a litter pick at the same time and in the evening there will be festive carols with a local choir. There’s so much happening in our local park. Bristol City Council budget consultation:

A few weeks ago, Bristol City Council launched its Budget 2022 to 2023 consultation. With only two weeks left this is your chance to have your say. The consultation is seeking views on how the council can protect the services that local residents value most, while also considering ways to become more cost efficient. Residents are encouraged, before the closing date of Friday 17 December, to offer their views on ways to mitigate a potential £23 million budget gap, as well as next year’s council tax levels and social care precept: https://bristol.citizenspace.com/bristol-city-council/budget-2022-2023-consultation/
