Focus on Brislington West:
Arnos Court Park improvements:
Thanks to our army of volunteers, we have almost finished delivering our latest newsletter to every household in Brislington West. We believe it is important to keep in touch with local residents on a regular basis. Thank you so much to all our volunteers who helped us with this task. If anyone would like to deliver some leaflets in their area every few months, please get in touch. If you live in Brislington West and haven’t received your community update, get in touch and we will get one to you.
On Thursday, 16 December, we will be planting our new A4 Bath Road perimeter hedge with the help of local schoolchildren. It will be a native species hedgerow of 200 saplings funded by One Tree Per Child. Over time it will provide both a visual barrier between the busy A4 Bath Road and the park and a pollution screen to help clear up our air. We will also be holding a litter pick at the same time and in the evening there will be festive carols with a local choir. There’s so much happening in our local park.
