The Kitzeck-Sausal appellation rises like a solitary figure amidst the surrounding countryside. This is where the Wohlmuth family cultivates their vineyards. The soil is composed of phyllite slate with its characteristic hues of red and black. Shaped by the Alps and the influence of the Mediterranean Sea, an interplay of warmth and cold gives rise to wines that are elegant, mineral, and complex.
