Adventures For Big And Small On The Planai

The 10-seater gondola will transport you to the Planai mountain station in comfort while you admire the stunning views of the surrounding region. Once you have reached the top, you can choose from a broad spectrum of options.

If you prefer riding on two wheels, you’ll find everything you’re looking for at the Schladming Bike Park. Some 40 kilometers of richly varied trails await you. From the leisurely, family-friendly flowline to challenging downhill routes and jumplines, there’s definitely an option for every level of ability. Anyone who doesn’t want to limit their cycling to just going downhill can choose the Uphill Flow Trail. Whether by e-bike or on a traditional mountain bike – this is where biking combines fitness and fun.

The younger visitors will have fantastic adventures in Hopsiland, the highest-elevation playground in Styria. Together with Hopsi, they’ll travel from one themed station to the next – around the entire world. There are swings, slides, climbing structures, ball tracks, and much more in store for the youngest guests. The new North Pole station offers a special highlight. It features a slide, a variety of ball tracks, and best of all, a lookout deck that affords a panoramic view of the entire region.

ASCENDING THE HOCHWURZEN –FROM ONE BENCH TO THE NEXT

On the neighboring Hochwurzen mountain, hikers find a wealth of options. The Gipfelbahn Hochwurzen lift brings you to the top station, the starting point for magnificent hiking tours. And if you prefer a more leisurely pace, head for the Hochwurzen’s bench-lined Bankerlweg. The return trip to the valley can be made either by gondola or the more action-packed choice – on a mountain go-kart. The 7-kilometer route includes loads of fun along with a spectacular view.

Experience Freedom Without Limits On The Dachstein

The Dachstein Glacier is a stunning location that offers visitors a myriad of activities and adventures throughout the summer months.

The Panorama Gondola transports you to the top station at an elevation of 2,700 meters. The Skywalk is located right at the top station. This awe-inspiring viewing platform delivers breathtaking views of the surrounding alpine scenery. A short walk takes visitors to Austria’s highest suspension bridge and further up to the “Stairway to Nothingness.” A 14-step descent leads to a glass platform set directly in the face of the cliff at a height that is both dizzying and exhilerating.

The Dachstein Ice Palace is a great place to cool off. The Ice Palace is composed of icy corridors and striking ice figures centered on the theme “Up the mountains,” offering a welcome change of pace on those hot summer days.
