Farsi guidare da chi questa terra la conosce come pochi, per osservarla, assaporarla e viverla in maniera ancor più completa e profonda. È proprio questo il segreto del successo delle visite guidate proposte al turista in questa estate di ripartenza in Friuli Venezia Giulia.

Alla scoperta delle leggende ed i misteri che avvolgono Trieste, piuttosto che cercare i simboli nel quartiere ebraico di Gorizia, sino a visitare Aquileia, antico porto imperiale e adesso sito archeologico tra i più importanti d’Europa.

E la scelta non si esaurisce qui, perché la proposta per una visita alternativa propone i vicoli e le rogge di una romantica Udine, piuttosto che Pordenone e il suo Noncello, il fiume che la percorre tra scorci naturali di struggente bellezza. Imperdibile, per i molti appassionati, il paese degli orologi, Pesariis, nel silenzio dell’alta Carnia; mentre Spilimbergo rilancia la tradizione dei suoi meravigliosi mosaici e la vicina San Daniele non si ferma certo alla semplice (ma irrinunciabile) degustazione del suo inimitabile prosciutto ma apre le porte della Guarneriana; istituita nel 1466 è la più antica biblioteca pubblica del Friuli Venezia Giulia.

godetevi Road to happiness, il “viaggio avventura” attraverso i siti UNESCO della regione: un racconto che parte vicino al mare, dal porto romano di Aquileia, per arrivare sulle vette delle Dolomiti Friulane. Una narrazione giovane, di tre ragazze a bordo di un mini-van, fresca e dinamica che strizza l’occhio ai turisti più giovani per proporre l’offerta culturale in modalità “smart” e ancora più appagante e divertente. È questo uno dei consigli di IES per il “fuori porta” d’autunno, forse il periodo più adatto per gustare al meglio un Friuli Venezia Giulia, dai mille volti : misterioso, romantico, ricco di storia, ma anche di gusti e sapori difficili da dimenticare.

PromoTurismoFVG’s guided tours to discover even more original itineraries in addition to the classic ones to visit and explore the symbols of our region have been a great success. Tourists were accompanied by regional tourist guides.

Let yourself be guided by those who know this land like few others, in order to observe it, savour it and experience it even more fully and deeply. This is the secret of the success of the guided tours offered to tourists in this new summer in Friuli Venezia Giulia.

Discovering the legends and mysteries surrounding Trieste, or searching for symbols in the Jewish quarter of Gorizia, or visiting Aquileia, an ancient imperial port and now one of the most important archaeological sites in Europe.

And the choice doesn’t end here, because the proposal for an alternative visit includes exploring the alleys and canals of a romantic Udine, as well as Pordenone and its Noncello, the river that runs through it, with its breathtaking natural beauty.

Not to be missed is Pesariis, the town of clocks and watches, in the silence of upper Carnia; while Spilimbergo revives the tradition of its marvellous mosaics and nearby San Daniele does not stop at simply tasting its inimitable ham, but opens the doors of the Guarneriana; founded in 1466, it is the oldest public library in Friuli Venezia Giulia.

This is one of IES’ suggestions for the autumn “outdoors”, perhaps the best period to enjoy Friuli Venezia Giulia at its best, with a thousand faces: mysterious, romantic, rich in history, but also in tastes and flavours that are hard to forget.
