Would you like to host a Postgraduate student from the MSc Bioinformatics and Computational Biology Programme for their 4-month Computer-Based Research Project this summer?

Any combination of Life Science and Data Analysis is welcome. This is an excellent opportunity to test candidate PhD students / R A’ s and to generate preliminary data for grant applications. Deadline for Descriptive Abstract to M.Claesson@ucc.ie indicating whether physical lab attendance during the summer is required: 1st March 2024 Project allocation will take place later that month and will be based on the students’ preferences and Semester 1 marks. The current class is the largest so far, thus the chance of getting a student is high. Start Date: Late May/early June 2024 Minor Thesis Submission Deadline: 1st October 2024

Should you have questions on suitable topics and enquiries contact Marcus J. Claesson, PhD Associate Professor in Bioinformatics, School of Microbiology and APC Microbiome Ireland
